Good food, good drink options, lovely views around the place. Plenty parking spaces, easy to access from the highway.

Our host offered both pub and restaurant, we choice the pub. It was a week day at noon and fairly busy. Our waitress, Laura came right over with water and took our drink order. Very friendly and efficient. The Truffle French fries were to die for. Our lunch was fabulous. I enjoyed the cole slaw because it was not loaded... More

It was a busy fall foliage and Colby-Sawyer homecoming weekend, but our party of three was promptly seated in the dining room with excellent mountain views. The food was good, as was the service. We would definitely stop here again. It doesn't have quite the authentic pub feel that Peter Christian's Tavern does, but it is still very nice. Good... More

Drove up to the Upper Valley Region to sneak a peak at some fall colors. Past this restaurant a week ago and saw that it was packed out on a Monday, a good sign in my book. Stopped there before 6 pm and were seated right away. Staff was friendly, they had tables that had a nice view of Mt... More

We stopped here again en route to Maine. Unfortunately, during the week, they apparently close off the restaurant area and lunch was served in the bar area only. It was noisy and crowded, which might be expected, I guess, but we felt rushed and found it difficult to even talk to each other over the din. Our food was good,... More

the location, and the condition of restaurant (totally charming) was wonderful. The parking lot was full. Unfortunately I ordered the reuben and meat was almost inedible. Incredibly tough. I had to pull the sandwich apart to cut the meat into small pieces so I could eat it. My husband was not impressed with the pulled pork. However a ton of... More

Place was packed - and it was only 1 pm on a Saturday. Brother and I stopped for lunch - only spot open was in the bar. Thoroughly enjoyable. Brother had a unique burger, and I had the Crockett Cobb Salad. Opps, nearly forgot the excellent draft the bartender recommended.

It was a busy Saturday night at prime time. We did not wait long for a table for five. A nice booth in the bar. The server was nice. We did get salad dressing wrong once, food took a little longer then normal, the waiter did not come back check us, which we needed ketchup and had to get it... More

Large selection of brews though most are good but average and not incredibly memorable. Food was solid. Lodge decor was nice.

I have been to a number of brew pubs and this one has one of the larger selections of brews on tap. The lunch menu has a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, and entrees. My wife ordered a burger, which is made from locally raised beef. She thought it was the best burger she had in a while. I opted... More
