Since Peter Christian's restaurant was reopened in 2010 under new ownership I had not gone by. In August I was treated to a lunch with family and followed with dinner the next week. Both were a pleasant surprise. Since the early 1980s, when PC's was under previous management, I stopped in frequently for a sandwich, a take-out, or a meal... More

The food is pub food. Very crowded and hard to get a table. There was a wait. We sat at the bar. Very friendly bartender. I only had the crab cakes. They were average. I'm very picky. Judging from the amount of diners, it's the place to meet and greet.

Our family of five had a 30 min. wait on a Saturday evening and it was well worth it. The pretzels and Peter Christian's special mustard is very good and you can buy a jar of it to enjoy at home. The French onion soup was excellent as was the BLT with avacado. Everyone liked their sandwiches. The service was... More

We were 6 in our party, so we did have to wait about 20 mins for a table, but we asked for menu's so we could be ready once we were seated. I became a little nervous when after being seated, we waited several minutes before anyone came to check on us, and take drink and meal orders. However that... More

We had a few minutes wait for our table, but had a look at the menu while we waited. We were able to order quickly and the burgers we ordered were delicious and more than ample in size. Very friendly service.

Waited about 45 minutes for a seat for two. Inside was rustic and wooden. Mustard was great with the pretzels provided. Cheese and Bread board was plentiful and delicious. Steak tips had a great bourbon sauce that tasted homemade. Lamb gyro was fresh and enjoyable. Although drink refills were once forgotten about, the waitstaff was running around tending to a... More

We have been going to PCs since my wife went to Colby Sawyer College in the late 1970s. Every time we are in the area we make a point of going there. It has gone though many changes over the years but the sandwiches have remained amazing. My favorite is still "Peter's mother's favorite".

Old school, dark wood appointed tavern with cozy booths. The food was excellent! A great series of sandwiches, favorites of Peter and his family members. Thick with meat, loaded with flavor, great breads. You will want to buy a jar of the dipping mustard they provide with pretzels on every table. Highly recommended casual dining, and good local craft beers... More

First time trying this restaurant- my friends recommended it. We waited about 20 minutes, arriving around 5:30 on a Friday evening in late June. Our meals were really good, it was a few weeks ago now, but I think I had the steak tips and my husband had the smoke house burger. Our server was attentive and friendly. Our food... More

My wife, adult daughter and I enjoyed our dinner. The menu is basically good, solid pub food. All of our meals were really well done. The bread in my sandwich seemed homemade. The cole slaw was just right, not too sweet and not too tart. My daughter is a flexatarian and was very happy with her veggie burger. Service was... More
