We went here for a Father's Day Lunch and had the best time. Our server, Ally was friendly, knowledgeable and kept an eye on us without being overly intrusive. Our food tasted great, and I had enough to have lunch the next day. We also...got dessert and it was wonderful. We had a pleasant dining experience and will definitely be going back. The views are gorgeous which is a plus.More

This was my first at Salt Kitchen & Bar. From the moment we were sat, I was very impressed with the ambience and lush decor. Next came the lobster bisque as my first course and it was spectacular with a good amount of lobster and...lots of flavor. Then we shared the mushroom risotto and roasted tomatoes cheese spread. Everything was wonderful!More

I have been to this restaurant a few times. The menu is limited. Food quality uneven. Experienced people, if you are lucky to get to serve you, are very nice. Most of the servers are usually new. Mostly days or weeks old on the job...here and woe betide anyone who is unlucky to be served by them. Guess just the quality of property doesn’t cut it when it comes to a hood dining experience!More

We have had breakfast at Salt on two different trips. I had french toast and blueberry pancakes and they were both good. The service is good and the coffee is hot. The dining room is pretty.

Super excited to get their yummy pizza. Wait Staff comes to take our order. "yes we would like 2 pizzas" Waitstaff: "Oh I'm so sorry, we are not serving Pizza tonight " Okay, bummer, no problem. I ask for the meatball appetizer and a small...side of pasta. Daughter gets a pasta dish as well. Dinner arrives, "Here are your special meatballs" the staff says and then passes my daughter her order as well. We share a very yummy dessert! Service was not so great. Our waitress never came back to refill our water, I needed to flag her down for a few things. Anyway...check arrives. Daughters meal: 24$ My special meatballs, well they were VERY special at a price tag of 40$ I was a little surprised, so I waited to ask our server who was no where to be found....but found another wait staff. He promptly looked at the bill and made a correction, charging me $14 for the meatballs and 7$ for the pasta. Okay, that's fair enough! Leave a 20% tip! Here comes the funny part! We get back to our room and no joke the phone is ringing. The manager of Salt is calling to tell me the person who corrected the bill was wrong, and she was adding $20 dollars to my bill and would I like to increase my tip based on that!!!! WHAT??? You are seriously calling my room about the special meatballs? I pick my battles and this is not one of them! Go ahead, if you really feel that this is necessary, sure add the $20 dollars, but no I'm not changing my tip. Overall the food is always good with a high price tag at Salt.More

We were staying at the Wentworth By The Sea and had dinner and breakfast at Salt. The dining room is gorgeous and the staff warm and attentive. The menu has tons of great choices. For breakfast I had lobster Benedict (amazing). For dinner we had...bone in pork chop and pasta with peas and lobster. Desserts looked exquisite and tasted great we had apple crumb with icecream and a pistachio chocolate nut bar. We would go back just as a destination dining spot. Great for birthdays and anniversaries it is very romantic!More

Overall a very nice restaurant but does need to be taken up a step or two given its surroundings. Menu too limited (5 entrees???), no local fish (only Atlantic = farmed salmon and swordfish), no oysters, to many ‘corporate’ wines on the list, service friendly...but slow (possibly due to covid staffing issues) but not a fan of our initial cocktail glasses being on the table, after wine, and after we finished after dinner drinks. Overall consensus was that the food was good even though my pork, requested medium, was overcooked. Beautiful restaurant, good food, just needs some fine tuning. Will be back.More

My. margarita flat bread pizza was delicious! The specialty cocktails were good also. A bit oricey, but if we had cut down on the drinking ( and who wants to do that?) wouldn’t have cost so much. Lovely waitress. Loved seeing the hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel to celebrate our retirement and anniversary. We had dinner reservations at 6:30 and were seated promptly. Tables were very well spaced and the wait staff adhered to COVID protocol with gloves, masks and distance. Our meals were...very good. In looking at the menu and the limited entrees we kind of expected there would be a number of specials, but no. That being said the options available all looked good. They do now have a few dessert options to chose from as well. Service and food were all good.More

While staying at the hotel, we had the opportunity to try at all, from breakfast to cocktail at the bar, to dinner at both the bat and the restaurant. The food is good and great service in general, could be a little slow at breakfast....Overall a great restaurant in the area.More

Used to look forward to a meal at Salt. Nice menu, skillfully prepared/presented. Tonight I couldn’t even finish the steak frites, questionable cut of meat, over cooked. 3 of us ordered the steak frites, requesting rare, rare, and medium-rare. Same story - we all got...a medium-well piece of tough meat. Steak knife required some effort. Sad.More
