Food is consistent and is pretty good. The happy hour specials used to include the craft brews from next door, but don't anymore. The service is why the mixed review. I've had great service. But my last visit, messed up my bill and tried to...charge for drinks we didn't drink. Then took the wrong drinks off my bill.More

This is in downtown Nashua and has really good burgers, mac and cheese and the appetizers are plentiful. it's a varied menu so everyone should find something they like. I'm not sure about gluten free options but vegetarians can find several items on the menu....They have a good selection of beer on tap and the usual amount of mixed drinks possibilities.More

We were looking for a sports bar in nashvegas and stumbled across the reviews for O'Briens which nudged us to give it a try. Your typical local Irish pub upon entry but they have a good menu with some tasty morsels. Drinks are made well...and service on point. We'll be back.More

Three of us had lunch at O'Brien's Sports Bar. They have a good sized menu with lots of varied choices. They also have a "build your own burger" menu with lots of choices. The food is very good. The atmosphere is what you would expect...in a sports bar but the music was a bit loud. At least the TV's were on but muted. The service was friendly. The food seemed very fresh.More

When you first look at O'Brien's it looks a bit like a local bar, and it is, but when you go in everyone is friendly and the food is really good. You wouldn't think the food is good, but you will be surprised. I would...recommend this bar for some good times with friends, a good beer and drink selection and some great food. They have plenty of TV's for the sports and they have some area for bar games as well. If your in downtown Nashua, hit this place up!More

O'Brien's is the best place to drink Guinness. It's served at the optimal temperature and if you get here early it's very affordable.

I was late picking up my boyfriend and roommate from work and frazzled by the very bad day I was having; so I decided to make it up to the boys for my tardiness by treating them to dinner. Selfishly, I decided that I was...in need of a Reuben sandwich and asked where we might find the best Reuben to be had in our area. My BF said his friend always spoke highly of O'Brien's, though none of us had been there before. It was the day before St. Patrick's Day and I knew we'd never get near the place if we didn't go then and there, so off we went. We were early for dinner (around 4:30 p.m.) and this IS a sports bar so everyone was seated at the bar watching one of their many TVs. I'm not sure if they offer outdoor seating because it's winter. We seated ourselves at a table and a friendly/courteous male staff member greeted us with menus and asked what we wanted to drink. The BF had Sam Adams and not being beer drinkers, we two had water with lemon. Our server returned with our drinks shortly and took our order. All three of us ordered the Reuben Sandwich, which came with a choice of fries or coleslaw; the BF had the slaw and we two opted for the fries. I also ordered Onion Rings for us to share. The full restaurant menu offered a nice selection, and the prices were reasonable (not cheap, but no higher than expected). Our Onion Rings arrived nice and hot and delicious; with a horseradish/thousand island dipping sauce accompanying the order. We made short work of them and our entrées followed very shortly after, served by another female server who was equally friendly/courteous. The sandwich (we all chose to have on rye bread, which was wonderfully rustic, thick cut and seeded with Caraway seeds); lightly grilled and not at all greasy. There was ample meat, cheese, sauerkraut and dressing in the sandwich as well. It was perfection! My BF had the slaw, which he enjoyed very much. He must have liked it a lot because he struggled to finish it; and though he is a light eater, the portion of coleslaw was more generous than I've seen plated at most restaurants. The fries were fresh, hot and perfect! Slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but not too thick or too mushy... Ketchup was also provided, but I don't think the fries were salted. Salt was tableside for seasoning to your liking. Onion rings, sandwiches, slaw and fries were generously portioned. Though I was full after half my sandwich and most of my fries; I was taking no prisoners! It was just TOO good!!! There had been a shift change; and our new server was an attractive young lady who picked up as if there was no change at all. In fact, we only noticed there was a change when we were waiting for the bill and saw our previous server was off duty chatting with another patron on his way out. She was pretty busy at the bar (she was also the bar tender) but she managed to check on us during our meal to make sure we had refills on our drinks and see if everything was to our liking. We waited a few minutes for the check; but she was clearly busy at the bar, so it was understandable that it took her a minute. It wasn't an unacceptable wait by any means, unless you are the impatient type. (I hate those people that snap their fingers if they think they've been waiting too long! Don't EVER do that! It's rude!) I have to say that it's been quite a while since I've had such a good Reuben sandwich and I am dying to go back to O'Brien's for another!! I'm sure that I will also go back to try other menu items as well. In fact, it may just be my new favorite place!More

I have been going to O'Briens since opening. Great friendly staff. The pub food menu is diverse and tasty. Nice selection of drafts and full liquor. The place is clean and the patrons are are a fun bunch (no ruffians). Did I say the staff...is great ...They treat you right, remember what you drink and are chatty. I dare say this is the best watering hole in downtown.More

This is a great place for midday as well as midnight. They did it right when they built the bar to be the center of the attention. Bartenders are attentive and easy on the eyes. Food is better than average for a pub and the...games can be seen from every angle in the place. Clean with outside seating and priced well to make you return, O'briens is another reason to enjoy downtown Nasha and its great nitelife and places to eat these days.More
