Our 4th visit and everything, yes everything was perfect. The food is so good! Steaks are amazing! I would wear their t-shirt, if they made one. This is my house of worship. Amen

My husband and I went to Buckley's for our 18th anniversary this past October and had such a wonderful meal. Literally we could not have had a more perfect or enjoyable dinner. For starters we had the Wedge salad and the special of the day...which was tempura rock shrimp. Both were amazing. I had the meatloaf for my entree and I asked for a few substitutions with the sides and sauces and things and they happily got everything right. Husband had a burger that he loved. Always a huge treat to go to Buckley's.More

My husband and I went to Buckley's on a Tuesday evening for my birthday. We had a "just-in-case" reservation, but when we arrived the restaurant was not very busy. When walking in, we noticed that there were two pairs of open seats at the bar....We politely asked the hostess if we could sit at the bar, but were told the seats were reserved. For whatever reason, our reservation did not count for actual bar seating. Given how dead the tavern was, and that we were allowed to pick out any open table, this rubbed us the wrong way. We have only been to one restaurant where you can make advance reservations specifically for the bar, and that's only on Fridays and Saturdays. We ended up getting a drink while sitting at our table and in the 30 minutes we were at the restaurant both pairs of open bar seats, well, remained open. Frustrated by this, we decided to take our business elsewhere. It's a shame because we were really looking forward to trying their food. The kicker is, while we were there one couple at the bar went home and a single gentleman sat down in their place about five minutes later. We would be very surprised to hear that someone grabbing a drink and/or dinner by themselves called to make a bar seat reservation on a Tuesday night during COVID.More

Today is Veterans Day and as a treat they provide a free dinner for vets (oh the secret is out now). My son (a marine) and his family and I with my wife decide to try this place out. Normally, except for a very special...occasion, I would not go here because it is not cheap. I know more about the restaurant and less about you ...... The menu is a great mixture of a lot of great food items. The service was great. The atmosphere was quaint. The food was not quick but boy was it worth the wait. Everyone loved what they ordered but for me the slow roasted prime rib was over the top. It was juicy and just melted in your mouth. The vegetables were outstanding and the mashed potatoes were creamy. Again the service was great. So happy with our visit.More

Buckley's never disappoints. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are treated like family. Great service, engaging bartenders and delicious food. We both started with the maple port Manhattans. Perfectly mixed drinks with a sweet touch of maple syrup. The baked...oysters were tasty and covered with prosciutto and creamy sauce, spinach and delectable fresh oysters. I had the prime rib with whipped potatoes and green beans. Everything was served hot and seasoned well. My husband had the meatloaf that was moist and tender. Such great comfort food for a cold winter's night. Blueberry crisp served hot with vanilla ice cream for dessert. A perfect ending to a great meal. Coffee and cappuccino just as yummy! One of our favorite places to have a casual dinner at the bar.More

Had dinner there many times during the years. Went for dinner tonight, 01/10/2020. My meal was fine, wifes, not so. She ordered the Prime Rib, end cut. Came out looking like fat road kill. Took back and replaced with another cut, but very rare. She...had requested med/well. Though, the waitress offered to replace again, as did manager, she was too embarrassed to do so. Bottom line, Buckley's use to be great, but recently has gone down hill. Still packs em in, but maybe they are resting on their laurels. Oh, I also had an hair in my Old Fashion which I didn't finish. They did take the dinner off the bill, though we told them it wasn't required. Won't be back.More

My husband and I went with friends to Buckleys on a Saturday night. We had a reservation, and I was very thankful we did. The place was packed with a long waiting line. We got the last spot in the parking lot. There is a...tavern in the back that is more casual than the main restaurant. We ate in the main portion. Our waitress was very accommodating. We were meeting friends we hadn’t seen in a while, we wanted to relax and make an evening of it. We had drinks and appetizers and chatted for quite a long time before ordering. No pressure. The drinks were good and the appetizers were as well. My husband had oysters on the half shell. He said they were delicious. I had the chicken wings. They were very tasty. We all had some form of steak. My husband and I had the filet mignon. It was cooked to perfection, tender, and very delicious. The sides were warm and tasty. This colonial, quaint restaurant will definitely be on our list to visit again. It was delightful.More

I would not bring kids to this restaurant. It is upscale and pricey. I agree with Gene D who mentioned that it is more a special restaurant for couples rather than families.
