This has become our favorite restaurant for lunch and dinner when we are in the New Hampshire (Manchester) area! Living in Colorado, we crave good fresh seafood, and we have never been disappointed with the Lobster Boat! Their steamed whole lobster and sea scallops are our favorite. The fried lobster is also excellent. Quick and friendly staff, and pleasant atmosphere. The menu has a nice large variety.
Please note that this place is often packed, as it is a local favorite. We suggest that you come early for best seating, parking and quickest service. Note that they are especially busy Friday-Sunday evenings - you probably should not expect to enjoy a long leisurely dinner at these time, as staff wants quick turn-arounds to handle the crowds (per one of our early experiences). However, we have never been disappointed in the service. Enjoy!

The wait staff is out of this word efficient. Ordered in/ to go and had my food within 5 minutes. Ordered the shrimp and haddock combo and the amount of food you receive, hot and fresh, is unbelievable! This is hands down the best seafood place around and the cooks and wait staff work it hard. You can't go wrong with this spot! Parking always an issue of course. 445 on a Sunday and I still had to park on the road! A testament to the food quality for sure

They get busy by 5:00PM, so parking gets tight. The service was prompt and courteous, and despite being busy our orders came quickly. The portions were large, the seafood was fresh, and the generous serving of onion rings were mostly real onion, not just batter! The prices were quite reasonable.

Great nautical atmosphere! I had the Lobster Roll again - except this I ordered the Jumbo portion. It was amazingly delicious and the portion was huge and satisfying! If you substitute your fries for $1 to Onion rings be prepared for another exceptional portion. My husband enjoyed the small portion of haddock nuggets which were more than enough for him. This restaurant aims to please! Thanks!!!

I am really glad I stumbled upon this restaurant as it has quickly become one of the family’s favorites. Lobster rolls are amazing and come in regular and jumbo size. Steamed lobsters with melted butter are also delicious. We’ll be back for sure!

This is Our favorite spot for lobster rolls. Each time we go to Nashua we visit the lobster boat in Litchfield even though it’s about 15 minutes away. The lobster rolls are worth the drive. Each waitress we’ve had in the last four visits has been fantastic and the food is consistently great. Prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is neat clean and nicely decorated. You really can’t go wrong

Great Food. Staff is very patient and helpful.
Why is it I see only young women taking orders and seating? No young guys apply? Not the only place that does this.
My problem is the patrons or maybe the entrance way. Separate entrance and exit? Today someone was holding the door for an elderly couple both with canes trying to exit. A woman outside was standing in the doorway waiting...not saying a word ...not getting the F out of the way so she runs in past the handicap couple because stepping aside is not an option. Most gentlemen know to do this but there really isn't many gentlewomen. I called her out as rude and she had a fit. Called me names, tried to play that she has a compassion for handicap because she has a disabled Sister...all the while her very patient husband who I felt sorry for watched her make herself look silly from the onset. He kept pulling her away and she kept coming back losing every argument which enraged her more...I was sitting the whole time at the waiting area dealing with this person. This establishment should have two doors.

Parking can be an issue as there is limited parking and the spaces are tight. I would never drive my truck, we took the car.
We were seated right away.
Nothing new, same old everything.
The waitress was nice and just the right amount of attentive.
The menu very much is the same one they have had for years
We ordered a seafood plater large and the two of us shared it and we were FULL.
It was good as always. And I just love the onion rings.
Yes we’ll be back the next time I have a Hankering for seafood.

I found Lobster Boat Restaurant online. The reviews of this out of the way seafood restaurant was highly recommended. My husband, adult daughter and I shared the Fisherman's Platter. Everything on this platter option was fried and so good. It did not disappoint. My favorites on the platter were clam strips and onion rings. My husband's favorites were scallops and Haddock. Our adult daughter's favorite was French fries. LOL! If you like fresh seafood, I recommend checking out Lobster Boat. But be prepared, the parking was tight!

This little hole in the wall place has a state wide reputation for great seafood and it is well deserved. Ok it is a really small place and the parking is terrible. It could really use some updating. Of course if you remember this place from along time ago - nothing has changed.
The prices are pretty typical for seafood which means it can be a bit pricey.
The service was good.
We had a booth not far from the door so it was cold each time someone came in.
The menu to me seemed to have just the right amount of offerings.
The food came quickly enough.
The food was excellent and it had so good.
The portions can be a little large so go with an appetite.
Yes I will be back next time I get a crazing for seafood.

The Lobster Boat in Merrimack is by far the BEST SEAFOOD RESTRAUNT in New England!
We frequently travel between Connecticut and New Hampshire and stop for dinner.
My favorite is the Baked Seafood Medley. Everything is cooked to perfection and the service is excellent!!

Chose to have a casual, fish night dinner. The Lobster Boat immediately popped up. our server Dawn was very attentive, the food was very good, with large servings. Stiil the best seafood in the area.

Our first experience was having a party of two seated before we were, simply because some one different was at the hostess stand. No apologies were given. It was not a huge difference in time, but that was not the point. Okay menu for seafood items, lobster prices were market price and NOT good compared to other places even closer to the beach. We both had the baked haddock; fish was nicely cooked but had no sauce and very little seasoning on it. Adding salt helped some; a little lemon butter or lemon/butter/wine sauce would have made this exceptional. Husband had fries, I had baked potato. Both were good. He also had corn lobster chowder. Needed a bit of salt. Did have a lot of lobster pieces in it. Cole slaw was a tiny condiment cup. Would not highly recommend but okay for the price and location.

Yesterday we took advantage of the fact that the Lobster Boat in Merrimack was offering pick up and take out service. Our old standby did not let us down. Our fish and chip dinners arrived home piping hot and delicious as always. The staff was extra friendly and very accommodating to make certain that the experience at the restaurant picking up our food was quick, simple and safe. It gave us a good feeling to be supporting a local restaurant in these difficult times. We will look forward to doing this again soon.

So happy that we found this Seafood place. We travel between Connecticut and New Hampshire twice weekly and try to stop here as often as possible. The food is consistently DELICIOUS! The wait staff is always very friendly. Parking with a big truck is tricky but there's a huge parking lot across the street.
