We have lived in the area and eaten here since it opened. Worst ever. Drinks never came. Meal didn't come. Waiter returned half hour after ordering to "confirm" orders...another half hour and still no food. Had to ask three times for water and finally some bread. We eventually left without eating. Suspect Alex Ray is just "phoning it in" now.... More

We brought our friends for their first visit to Camp Bar and Restaurant. I recommended the grilled bourbon marinated tips with portobello mushrooms. We all had it and our friends were thrilled with the dish. They were in love with the "camp" style decorating. Waitress was great and the service was quick, but not rushed. Will continue to eat at... We ate here for the first time and must say it was pretty good. We were a party of 7 and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The food was a little slow coming out but all in all it was worth the trip. The prices are very reasonable and our waiter was attentive. I would check it out if... More

Very representative indecent home style cooking and dishes enjoyed that pot roast and the lobster macaroni Restaurant is quite small and a little bit on the cramped side but we really enjoyed it the desserts were very homey and the kids loved it

Conveniently located on the ground floor of the Chase House; fun decor; great menu selection--including cocktails; good service.

The big draw to this restaurant is the decor. Dining room resembles a log cabin complete with moose and deer heads, and a lot of artifacts from a long ago era. (Remember Scotch coolers? Part of the decorations!) Food was well prepared and fresh, and the desserts are big enough for two. Only downside for us was the noise level,... More

Called with party of 10 with short notice. They were super accommodating and the service was great. The decor is themed like a summer camp and very fun. Food was great and menu was creative while still having something for everyone - including vegetarians!

I was in the area for a bachelorette weekend and we came to Camp for dinner. The staff (esp. Allie) was hospitable and sweet and saw to all of our needs. The food was terrific (camp crackers...not a coincidence crack is in the name!), setting really cute, and was able to be accommodated in our group of 9. Great work!... More

We ate here twice during a three night stay because we enjoyed it so much. There's a tin roof, oil lamps and even some washing hanging from the ceiling! The menu isn't extensive but is in keeping with the decor. Waiting staff were very friendly and able to take time out for a quick chat. I would recommend the house... More

My wife and I are from Cape Cod Massachusetts and have been coming to Meredith, New Hampshire to get away from the tourism of Cape cod during the summer. We love the area because of what it has to offer, the lake, the bars, the hotels and the feel of the whole area just makes you relax. During this visit... More
