This is a tastefully cozy restaurant with a wonderful bar and very well-prepared food that is refreshingly modest in price. We visited for lunch and found the range of entrees impressive, more than what usually is on offer at midday, including a nice selection of specials from which to choose. We went for what the restaurant calls a "Box Lunch,"... More

This was our first time at the Chop House and we were eager to see whether it was as good as the reviews. We were not disappointed. This is a classic steak house, white table cloths, leather upholstered booths, White jacketed servers. Our server was excellent. He knew the menu and the wines and made a great wine suggestion. My... Family visit for our yearly pre Christmas get together. This year was my choice and I chose the Hanover Street Chop House. It's an upscale Steak House for sure, plenty of choice cuts, cooked to perfection, good selections of sides, great drinks, excellent service. A very comfortable place to sit and relax and enjoy your whole meal. Quality is high,... More

Eaten here many time with my business associates for both lunch and dinner. The staff is always very attentive and if something is not prepared correctly, they will make it right. They offer a 'boxed lunch' at a reasonable price. Dinner is a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for here. The atmosphere is also very nice... More

Yes it is exspensive, but so worth the outing. Arrived at 8 for our 830 reservation and had a nice scotch at the bar. Headed over to our table and the magic began. Meaghan our server was great. Lamb, Kansas City bone in perfect, serlion, and tenderlion perfect. Salad, appy and dessert perfect. If you need to spend a lot of... More

Upscale. Great atmosphere. Loved the pianist and our waitress; service was exceptional. Food was amongst the best I've had, albeit pricey. We lucked out; be sure to make reservations. It's an easy walk from the Palace Theatre!

Went here a month ago. Its a nice restaurant to go on a date. The food is of good quality. Our waiter was really good checking in frequently. Basil was very polite and respectful. The atmosphere is really good. I had a steak dinner which tasted really good. The meal was expensive, but it is a high end restaurant in the... More

Had a nice bar meal recently. Filet was good as was the meatloaf. The aged steak from the regular menu was tender but lacked the nutty flavor that I expected. It needed more aging in my opinion. The baris a busy place, so arrive early to enjoy lite bites at a great price. Drinks are not cheap, but well made.

This place was my favorite of the three places I visited this trip. It was packed and full of energy. The bar was awesome and they actually take your name and put you on a waiting list if you want to eat at the bar. I love that rather than first come first to steal your seat. There drink menu... Reserved 3 days ahead and when we arrived we had to wait for a table. Staff was pleasant and waitress was extremely satisfying. Food was overrated and overpriced but very good. Martinis were strong and not the best I've ever had. We were seated directly next to the piano which was very to romantic. Pleasant experience but probably won't be... More
