Is this really Manchester, NH. I have been hearing about KC’s since I moved too Hooksett. Many of my coworkers rave about this place. I saw an advertisement for their outdoor tiki bar and had to go. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the...tiki bar was calling me so off we went. I absolutely loved the vibe and felt like I was at a Jimmy Buffet restaurant in Florida. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly server and ordered drinks. They were perfect. We’re ordered an app. For the table and looked through the extensive menu. We took our time and ordered our Lunch and a second cocktail. We were not rushed and lunch came in a bit. OMG, I had the best sandwich that I have ever had. Chicken cordon blue. I had 1/3 for lunch and 1/3 for the next two days. My friend had a brisket sandwich that she also enjoyed and my husband devoured his ribs. We will definitely be backMore

Everything about this place was awful. First off the parking lot is tiny. There is barely enough room to maneuver vehicles in and out of the parking spaces. You have to back up and pull forward several time to get in and out of the...parking lot. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait after calling the restaurant and being told that there was no wait 20 minutes prior to showing up. It turned out to be a little over an hour. After we were seated no one came to our table for about another 20 minutes. The appetizers came out about 30 minutes after we ordered them and the entrees at the same time. We got the french fries with bacon and cheese sauce and the corn fritters. it all tasted like microwave food and the cheese sauce was ultra processed and disgusting. We had to wait another 30 minutes to get the sandwiches we ordered. The brisket sandwiches we OK at best; certainly not waiting over an hour and a half for. The waitstaff barely came to check on us during the entire meal. I can't understand all of the good reviews for this place because our experience between the gross food, ridiculous wait times and inattentive staff was completely awful.More

Wonderful BBQ, very large portions, good service = maybe a 45 minute wait without reservations = even with a 50 mile drive, I'd return.

First time visitor, Sat in bar area upstairs, service was exceptional and welcoming. I had brisket and wife had chicken. Both were excellent, loved everything about the meal. Great job, keep up the good work!

After reading some reviews I wasn’t sure how it would go. The service was excellent, the food was fabulous right down to the Amazing sides and cocktails. We had a two meat with brisket and ribs with collard greens and mashed. The brisket is not...to be missed. We also had a 3 meat. Ribs, pulled pork, and brisket with coleslaw and dirty rice. My husband is a connoisseur on dirty rice and let me say he was not disappointed. There is nothing I can say negative. This place knows how to make great food.More

Two things to say: Lots of food and REALLY good. Our family of 4 ordered all ordered the two meat combo so we sampled all they offer. All the meat and all the sides were excellent. Friendly, efficient service (drink refills magically appeared), live music,...all made it a great eveningMore

Traveling in the area, my wife and I relied on Trip Advisor for our Sunday lunch. Overall we were very pleased with our choice. We first got seated upstairs, but as seniors the high tables were not the best choice for us so they accommodated...us in a nice booth on the main floor. The waitstaff was efficient and cordial, and the ambiance was well suited for barbecue! Our orders arrived quickly - a pleasant surprise. We both started with side salads - a nice size proportion of crisp fresh greens tossed with fresh vegetables that went well with the meats. I got the "pick two" choice of ribs and pulled pork while my wife got the pulled pork. The meats were moist and tasty, while the accompanying sides of beans, applesauce, and slaw were not special. The serving size was ample and the pricing was reasonable. Great smells from the parking lot!More

This very conveniently located restaurant is only open for lunch on weekends when parking can be difficult when the lot fills. There is outside seating in a nicely decorated garden area and several different areas inside. We were seated in the quieter lounge area that...is nicely spaced out with the usual wooden country style seating and decorated very eclectically. The pulled pork sandwich was very generous. the fries were excellent and copious. The mixed plate of brisket and ribs was also with more than enough food with excellent coleslaw and two large ribs. The ribs were meaty and delicious but the brisket was served in chumks that were a bit tough and dry although they had some sauce over them and on a bed of white bread to catch their drippings. The ribs were outstanding but no so the brisket that was disappointing. Service was very good despite the waitress having to go between different rooms. We would return but stick to the ribs.More

I have been coming to this place for years, and I still enjoy coming. Here are the buts: Because it is so popular Parking was difficult. The was a lot of hustle and bustle (not something I like). The menu has not changed a lot...in the years. What I miss is the wait staff being less busy and more friendly. Now they are too busy. Food was good but took a little longer to get. Everything on the menu was just a bit more pricey. The food was very good. I would recommend it.More

We've eaten at KC's as a family for at least a dozen years. Because of covid we didn't eat there during 2020 - 21 yet. We always enjoyed the food and thought it was a pretty good value for a family dinner out. But I...could not get over a few things about the place though. It has never really seen a makeover as far as I can tell. The dining area looks pretty much the same over all those years. Having older furnishings is fine, except when they appear to be dirty. It was never really kept as clean as my favorite restaurants. The womens' bathrooms was atrocious and always pretty unclean. It made me second-guess how clean their kitchen was. I know they must be passing inspections, yet with not much money or effort they could vastly improve and update certain elements of the dining area. The chair were often sticky with BBQ sauce I guess and I wonder how people are handling the issue of touching the bottles of the various flavors since we allegedly should still be worried about speading covid, even though I'm not worried. Dining there for me is a trade-off between the good food and the sub-par environment. Enjoy!More

I visited KC’s with a business colleague in September 2021. The atmosphere and décor were very good and the staff were very friendly and approachable. The food was ok, it arrived promptly but was not very hot, flavours were again ok but nothing to the...standards I’ve had while in the USA elsewhere. This is a good spot to stop if passing in Manchester.More
