Now under new name at corner of Maple and So Willow, we enjoyed some of the best nachos ever at the friendly bar (washed down with Cabo Wabo margaritas). Well seasoned, just the right amount of cheese, and tender chicken. Restaurant area very busy with families and couples. They will be opening the patio in late May. We will go... More

If you're in the area and like Mexican food, pick this place. The food is more authentically Mexican that's not as Americanized as the other local places. It's really delicious. Best in the region.

Went to have lunch and discovered they had closed and reopened down the street under a new name. They are now called La Fiesta Mexico @ 300 South Willow with same menu.

The restaurant is about to move to another location on South Willow, so perhaps the menu/atmosphere will change. At its current location, we found El Jimador to have the most expansive menu of any Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurant we had been to. The food was very good. The atmosphere was nice, though a bit too much kitch Mexican art (e.g.... More

After reading all the amazing reviews why not? We sat at the bar area, (which I think was considered a bar area for technical reasons) apparently that's not a popular spot to sit, as there are only four chairs and the kitchen and wait staff walk through it to access the dinning area. I think that was done just to... More

We have gone to El Jimador several times, but today my wife and I decided to order El Molcajete. It was one of the best meals of my entire life. No exaggerating. I very rarely write reviews, but here I am. It was an emotional experience for me, it was that good. All the food is really good. Their salsa... More

Tried El Jimador because of the Tripadvisor rating and the fact that we were traveling with three boys aged 10-14 and real fine dining was not an option. We were not disappointed. As nearly everyone with culinary experience notes, finding good Mexican fare in New England can be challenging. El Jimador will do. The chips were fresh and tasty, the... More

You would never expect to find such high quality Mexican food in Manchester NH but here it is. Service was efficient and friendly. Restaurant is very clean. We'll be back.

Very good food with nice presentation. Great prices. Paid lots more elsewhere for smaller portions. Very clean, staff friendly.

I liked the food there so much I went there a couple of times. I tried tacos de carne asada and steak chimichanga. Both were great, my colleagues order different food and were also very pleased with it, you will not be dissapointed!
