Super nice place to visit.....unexpected Saturday Happy HOUR just chilling enjoy a Guiness before our event... peanuts and friendly staff makes this an easy choice to come back and visit with friends...it is just that good
The last time we have gone here was maybe 15 years ago. We decided to use our gift card that we won in a raffle at a motorcycle charity run. Not very busy when we arrived 1 person working ,she took our orders promptly and...the meal came in a timely matter. The problem was the tiny fruit flies all around us, the place was not very clean like we remember or the food very good. had to ask for our bill , she was getting busy with the bar people.I asked her how much was on the gift card and she ran it up and said it was never activated... really.... not happy about that. We won't be back not the same place we remember.More
Drove here while in town on business. Wanted to come in and get a few drinks and a shepherd's pie. Bartender was unattentive, the apparent friends of his at the end of the bar were obnoxious, vulgar, and loud. That didn't bother me, this is...an Irish pub. What bothered me was that I wasn't offered a menu at all and when the person next to me asked for one he told her they hadn't seen their cook in three days. This is just irresponsible management, at this point. I won't be back.More
Went this 10:30 this morning, to enjoy an Irish Breakfast served from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Found the doors locked, managed to get a staffer to open the door to discuss. I asked it is Sunday, why not open for breakfast. Was advised discontinued...Sunday breakfast for the summer. WHY IT'S STILL APRIL,More
No matter how busy they are the staff is always upbeat and prompt. Any issue worth your order and you can rest assured they will take care of it. The food is hearty and reasonably priced. Not to mention the different options to choose from....I highly recommend the clam chowder and the garlic parmesan chicken tenders. Plenty of food with leftovers for homeMore
The staff was super accommodating we were a group of 8 with only an hour to spend for lunch the Friday before Christmas none the less. Yes we were that group, separate checks but the waitress was super nice, great sense of humor and did...her best to keep us in our time frame. Food was prompt, and very tasty. The garlic parmesan chicken tenders are amazing and so is the homemade clam chowder.More
It's a sunny Thursday and it's our day to visit with the local grand daughter, Leah. Art, Mary and Leah like outdoor seating so we seat ourselves at The Wild Rover. The smiley waitress is here already. Leah has water, Mary a house cabernet and...Art a Bud Lite draft. To eat, Leah chooses the shepherd's pie. Mary picks the chicken pie and Art gets the meatloaf entrée.
What is that on Leah's plate? Shepherd's pie is supposed to be ground meat, lamb or hamburg, a covering of corn and a topping of mashed potatoes. Hers is cubes of coated beef and a few odds and ends on top. Not what she asked for. Mary's chicken pie was fine, as usual. There is a square pie crust, unattached. The pie chicken, potatoes, carrots, etc, is definitely home mad. Mmm. Art's meatloaf is good, must be home made too. There is enough that all three of us have "doggy bags". Leah has chocolate cake for dessert, shared, very good.
We had unpleasant customers near us the last time we went, quite a while ago. This time, everyone is fine. We get a warm greeting from a guy we know casually. The price was very reasonable. Good time out.More
When I was asked to attend a business lunch and they mentioned the Rover, i was all in. A traditional irish pub with different types of food. The food was good. Service was average, usually top notch so i will give them another chance
After the graduation we were looking for a place to unwind from the ceremony and stumbled across The Wild Rover. We were able to enjoy sitting outside on one of the rare nights it wasn't raining and listen to the music from inside while having...a drink or two. Wasn't planning on eating, but after looking over the menu it seem d too good to pass up. I ordered the special of the night wild boar shank and let me say; it was unbelievably delicious!!!!
I highly recommend you take the opportunity to go here and enjoy!!
If you see Ramon say hi!!More
