Established in 1984. The Lobster Boat Restaurant is locally owned and operated by, brothers Ben & Jon Workinger. Our goal is to offer you a brief respite from the day-to-day as you enjoy a taste of the best seafood New England has to offer while relaxing and letting our exceptional staff take care of you. We understand, all too well, what it takes to get everything on your to-do list done, so let us cross one thing off for you and join us for lunch or dinner!

Wow! We found a great place to eat lobster in New Hampshire! We wanted seafood, and we got it! We called up the restaurant to make sure they take a reservation, just in case. The girl who took our reservation was Meghan. We arrived, and we asked for Meghan. Surprise surprise, our waitress was Meghan, the one who reserved our table, perfect! We ordered lazy lobster, fried clam belly, lobster corn chowder soup, and salad. I like them all! I liked lazy lobster the most. It wasn't a lot but enough to fill me up. The lobster corn chowder was great too. Clam belly didn't disappoint either, but I liked the one in Cape Cod better. Order lazy lobster! That's the best! The restaurant is quite big, enough to accommodate a social distancing crowd. We enjoyed our dinner, and the service was excellent too. Thank you!

We have ordered Lobster Boat meals through DoorDash in April & again on 6/15/23, as we were unable to go in person. Both deliveries couldn't have been better! This last meal was for my boyfriend's birthday. They not only honored my request for extra strawberries on his cheesecake, but they also put a candle in it! He had scallops & shrimp, & I had lobster & steak tips, and we ordered onion nuggets. Both opted for baked tater & cole slaw. Everything was PERFECT! I highly recommend choosing to get your meal from them, either in person or a delivery service. I feel they are very thoughtful and will go above and beyond to make your meal special.

We had the 2 way combo of fried clams and haddock man was it delicious. Others had the broiled shrimp - and they also thought it was delicious. The food is great, as is the staff. We go here often and are never disappointed

Ordered 2 clam plates and order of onion rings. The clams were real small or cut in half. All you could taste was batter. Onion rings disgusting. Tasted like flour. And French fries were dry like frozen. Through the most out. Cost $30 after $5 off coupon. Huge mistake. Never again. I commented about this on their website as well.

We love the Lobster Boat! Always eat where the locals eat….and judging by the size of the crowd in the parking lot…you know the food is going to be good. We eat here at least once a week…the baked medley for my husband which consists of lobster, scallops and shrimp…fried haddock with shrimp for me with onion rings. The onion rings are the best, light golden brown, just crispy enough without any sogginess. And did I mention everything is reasonably priced? You can’t find fresher seafood. Definitely visit if you are in the area!

Just moved to the area and this was our second visit to the Lobster Boat. The second visit sealed the deal. The whole fried clams were perfect , as was the haddock. My wife had baked lobster and scallops- and she thought it was delicious
I love the outdoor seating- plenty of room and since it has a real roof you can eat outside while it’s raining.
The wait staff was very polite and attentive
We shall return!

My wife was looking for steamers and seafood. She found this place and decided to check them out. Glad we did. We shared a bowl of steamers for an appetizer. The price was fair and they came out hot. A very nice treat. I had a lobster BLT which was excellent. A very generous portion of lobster meat. My wife had the small portion of fish and chips. I think her and I could have shared it and been full. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner without feeling rushed. Our serve was very friendly and attentive. Overall a nice experience. Well worth the visit.

The restaurant was very clean. The food was disappointing. We got the baked combo. The lobster tail was beyond small and had no flavor. The scapes were mushy and had flavor. The scrimps were tough but did have flavor. We were very disappointed and will never go back.

We happened to see this on a food show - The portions are very generous - the outside seating is a bonus . Staff has always been helpful and courteous . We take the 2 hr trip as often as we can . You can’t go wrong …

The Lobster Boat is usually pretty darn good. Last night, the fried clams were crispy crunchy. The batter is usually light and tasty. The fried onions had quite a bit of cinnamon and the flavor was off. Not the typical Lobster Boat quality.

We miss true New England seafood living in FL now so try to get as much as
possible while here for the summer. Have been here twice now & will certainly be back.
Have tried clam chowder, fried clams, fish & chips, & steamers so far. All excellent and good portions – no complaints. Service fast, efficient & friendly. Prices reasonable. Yum – Go & enjoy!

This restaurant serves very good, true New England food. The clam chowder is very good. The fried clams (with bellies) are excellent, and the onion rings were to die for. Highly recommend this establishment.

Had shrimp cocktail and the jumbo lobster roll. Spent $50 and was shocked how small tge jumbo roll was. Woukd hate to see the regular roll. I know lobster is $$ but what I got was nit a good value.

My husband and I dined here in September on the patio. Our server which excellent as was our food. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the Lobster Chowder and the Fried Seafood Platter. I had the Lobster Fingers and Haddock with Shrimp dinner.
We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to go back.

We went to the Litchfield NH restaurant on a week day. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and brought to a table. The place was nice and clean. The waitress was friendly. The food was delicious. You get a lot with the seafood plate. We plan on going again. Very happy with our meal.
