Had a great time here. Took the family out with my two small children and the atmosphere was great. Food was great, burgers that tots for a burger joint we were not disappointed. Prices were reasonable, and wait was about 20-25 minutes on a Friday night. Small town, good food, nice people.

We stopped in for lunch shortly after noon and were told there would be a 45-60 min wait. Not surprised, as it was a Saturday in Lincoln and we expected that. It was only about half an hour. Once seated we were immediately greeted by Haylie our waitress who was absolutely fantastic. As busy as it was she was upbeat, friendly and totally at ease....the perfect personality for her position. Our order came out in a very short time, the burgers were excellent, cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were the best we've had anywhere. Prices very reasonable. We will definitely go back ...and will request Haylie! Thank you Haylie for a memorable lunch! :-)

During a ski trip to Loon Mountain with my family we decided to have lunch and stopped at Black Mtn Burger. Had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table around 12:45 and the place was packed. The hostess was pleasant and they moved quickly to free up tables and accommodate the people waiting for tables. The food service was prompt and the menu had all of your favorite sandwiches and hamburger choices.

We chose the restaurant based on previous reviews and, due to COVID restrictions on seating, decided on a takeout lunch. The four burgers were ordered medium, along with sweet potato waffle fries. All of the burgers were blackened, which would not have been problematic except for the fact that only one even came close to a medium cook. The remaining burgers were dry as shoe leather and way overcooked. The sweet potato fries could have been used as casino chips, if New Hampshire allowed casino gambling. For a restaurant whose claim-to-fame is the burger, this afternoon's kitchen failed miserably.

The 2k+ positive reviews don’t lie! Black mtn burger co is a great spot for anyone who’s hungry and finds themself in the white mountain region of NH. Whether you’re in the area for hiking, fly fishing, skiing, mountain biking, sightseeing or shopping some of the local outfitters, this restaurant has what you need to keep you nourished and ready for what’s next. I stop here every time I come up to the white mountains to hike, typically more than once. The promise of a warm burger with all the fixin’s and some perfectly seasoned fries has gotten me through the last mile of a punishing hike on more than one occasion. This past weekend after hiking the Franconia ridge all I could think about was a good meal. I called up black mtn burger co and ordered something I’d never had before, a bison burger. The hostess, Robin, whom I spoke with both times I visited the restaurant that weekend and who did a flawless job taking care of the countless hungry patrons who were taking advantage of the nice weather that weekend, was thrilled to hear someone was ordering one of her favorite burgers! It exceeded my wildest expectations. Bottom line, if you want a phenomenal meal at what I would consider an incredibly reasonable price that will nourish you for whatever you’re up to next, you owe it to yourself to pay Black Mtn Burger co. A visit!

We had the opportunity to visit Black Mtn. Burger Co. the weekend of June 27th (would have been the New England Brewfest weekend that was cancelled) and enjoyed great food and atmosphere. Felt comfortable with the seating (socially distancing), our waitress, Cheryl, was super friendly and attentive wearing a face mask and we had a wonderful experience. Good value for your money. We go there whenever we are in Lincoln, NH, visiting from Connecticut.

Food and service was so good, we went back a second time before leaving. We were promptly seated outside on both occasions. The Thai Chili Burger and Cheeseburger w/blue cheese were cooked as described (there is a chart in the menu that will help you correspond your preference) and the Cajun Dusted French Fries and Sweet Potato Waffle Fries were also cooked to our liking and not greasy. The winner for my husband was the Brie & Bacon Burger and both meals were made with fresh ingredients. Nadine and Moriah were professional, friendly and attentive, listening to our questions and making recommendations based on some criteria we had provided. Knowledge around the draft beers was also helpful in making our selection. For our 1st meal, Nadine surprised us at the end with an unanticipated gift bag and 10% off our bill, as apparently it was Black Mtn Burger Co's 10th anniversary. For our 2nd meal, Moriah recommended their maple mayo with the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries, which was a perfect combo that was not too sweet. Will definitely recommend to others planning to travel to the area.

We had excellent service and delicious food. Our server, Jess, was so pleasant. She recommended one of her favorites, Cesar salad with buger and blue cheese on the burger. It was outstanding and just what we were looking for. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

With covid restrictions they were well organized and we only waited 20 minutes for an inside table but they also offered outdoor seating as well. Our server welcomed us with a bright smile and also explained patiently some items on the menu. Husband had blackened salmon that was very fresh and cooked just right. I had mountain burger that was so juicy and had such a nice flavor to it. Loved the laid back decor and would make The Black Mtn Burger our #1 favorite place to eat in Lincoln...we will return!

My friend and I decided to go out to eat and were hesitant to try this restaurant. But oh boy this was an incredible experience! The food came exceptionally fast, and was absolutely delicious (I'm very picky about my food. But the real kicker was our server Mary (had a little lamb). She was super courteous, always checking up on, and making sure our food was to our liking (which it exceeded). In addition she was absolutely a pleasure to talk she made the food 10x more enjoyable just by talking to her. Her wit, service, and just all-around being is an absolutely brilliant experience. Would dine here again, and would in a heartbeat if she was our server again!

The food was ok but the order was not served correctly and it didn't make up for the terrible service provided by all of the staff from beginning to end. The hostess was nowhere to be found when we entered and we had wait several minutes for her to come out of the kitchen for no apparent reason only to tell us there was a 1//2 hour wait. No problem. But when we got called that our seats were ready we again had to wait again several minutes for her to come out of the kitchen, for no apparent reason. She proceeded to tell us to take the two seats available at the bar. At the bar, instead of the bartender greeting us first with a friendly hello he proceeded to ask if we were given permission to take the two seats. I was exhausted and hungry from mountain climbing and when the bartender asked if we were ready to order I went ahead and ordered a cheese burger with romaine lettuce wrap and fries. Once my husband finished his order I asked if I could substitute the fries for something else and asked him what was available. He rudely answered," I already told you what was available" Wow! Never have I been treated like that as paying customer.... We waiting 45 minutes, no lie, for our burgers and my husband was livid and wanted to leave. The bartender could tell by 35 minutes in that we were getting ready to walk out and only then did he approach us and make an excuse that there was large tables before us. We were staved and decided to stay reluctantly. In the 45 minutes it took to get our food not once did the bartender come up to us and make casual conversation or ask us how we were enjoying our stay. Another bartender came on half way through and talked to our bartender and the wait staff the whole time about a concert and his bike trek and again never once looked at us or gave us even a friendly smile he was too busy talking about himself. The burger came out and usually when you order romaine wrap it's to use as a wrap for the burger instead of a bun. The burger was serviced on one leaf of romaine like a garnish instead of as a side. The heat from the burger wilted the romaine so I couldn't even us it as a wrap. The only time I got any interaction from the bartender was when at the end I asked him if he was the owner because I thought he was so rude and inhospitable that I needed to know. He said "oh no he's not in yet" but made a joke that the waitress at the bar was the owner and they both laughed to themselves. Again a chance to make conversation with me and my husband but no way. To me this place caters to it locals and really could care less about anyone else. One last observation is when I was using the ladies room I came out and a staff member was waiting outside the door and gave me the most hostile look of this whole experience. It looked like someone told her to clean the bathroom and she wanted to spit on the next person she encountered.... which unfortunately was me! The food was ok (come on it's a burger!) but I would never go back to this establishment. The entire experience was totally uncomfortable and ingenuine.

The place was busy and the restaurant handled the customer flow incredibly well. They take your name and number and text you when your table is ready . When it table came up and we got to the host stand (3 minutes later) we were told that they seated someone else at our table and we had to wait for the next one. That took about 15 more minutes. The food was decent, with good portion sizes. Our waitress never brought the appetizer plates like she said she would. But I chalk that up to just having a lot going on. The burgers did take a tremendous time as well

Mary our waitress was very observant and kind. She made us feel welcome and wanted. She answered every question we had. Our burgers came quick and hot, they were some of the best burgers we have had in a long time. The only complaint we had, we asked if we ate outside if there would be heaters. We were assured there would be so we chose open seating. Once we got seated we observed the heater not working. We asked Mary if it was going to be turned on. Mary came and apologized stating that they were out of propane and that the heater would not be on for us. Other than being cold the service was excellent and food was yummy. We would have given a 5, but we were cold.

Failed to reach by phone on the 2 hour trip from Maine. It was a 45 minute wait to get seated at the bar but called ahead to put our name in. We ordered two specialty drinks from the bar, no rim on the margarita or garnish on either. Corn chowder was under seasoned with a layer of film from sitting in the window too long. $10 plate of poutine that was just a small plate of cheese fries with no curd. We only had drinks and apps, the bartender was the saving grace. I forgot his name but he’s the reason we will be back for the full experience and a second review. We were surprised by the amount of reviews and the high rating due to our underwhelming experience. We will give it another try soon.

I enjoyed "The Pounder" burger while I was here and I was delighted with everything from the food quality to the atmosphere of the restaurant. My burger was cooked perfectly, they had a variety of local beers on tap, and the restaurant had a lot of character. You can tell this is one of those places that have a cult following, because even during the off-hours the restaurant was pretty busy. We'll definitely be back!
