The food was great, everything we ordered had a home cooked feel and taste. The nachos were really good, but the jalapeño corn bread muffins were "to die for" direct quote from the people at the table during lunch. To bad they are not open during the week for dinner or I'm sure we would be back this evening. I... More

I much prefer fluffy omelettes to those off a griddle, and to my delight, found them here at Texas Toast Eatery. Friendly staff, great service, good pancakes too! Manga!

My brother in law & I had breakfast here after reading some of the reviews & different breakfast options. The breakfast menu is very limited & different. Ex: pork chops & eggs, (almost got that) my brother in law who is picky had the buttermilk pancakes & fresh local maple syrup, I had the breakfast burrito very good & tasty... More

I had the stuffed French Toast and it was served with fresh cut bananas and berries and whipped cream. And just as pretty as in the posted photo on the Trip Advisor site. They definitely put effort in to the presentation for this dish. Pancakes and eggs Benedict both got a thumbs up. My son ordered a southwest omelette (I'm... More

We were in the Lincoln area for a multiple generation family vacation and discovered this wonderful place on one of our first days. Originally from the south, we were happy to find some southern comfort foods- all homemade by Mary the cook/owner. We ate there several times for both breakfast and lunch. All food was very tasty and by the... More

Had two delicious breakfasts during our stay in Lincoln. The French toast was the best ever. My husband enjoyed his French toast and the next day, biscuits and gravy. Very generous portions and appealing presentation. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Smoked bacon from Vermont and some very good baked beans. Service was great. Real maple syrup and real whipped... More

My husband and I ordered the BBQ for 2 which has chicken, pulled pork, ribs, briskit, and side dishes. Plenty of food for 2. We even took leftovers home. Meat has a nice smoky flavor, homemade bbq sauce on table. Meat isn't smothered in it which was nice. Owner was waiting tables that night because someone had called out. She... More

They are mainly a breakfast and lunch place. They can and do accommodate tour buses with a buffet fare if you make arrangements in advance. Everything is made from scratch! You'll taste the difference. On Friday and Saturday nights ONLY, they turn into the Pig's Ear Barbeque. My family loves it. We get the "Sampler Plate" for takeout and it... More

The breakfast here was really good. I had an omelet with sausage, mushrooms, and American cheese. The hash browns let me down a little as they were under-seasoned. However, I was so stuffed from my giant omelet that it didn't really matter. It was so good that I even took a picture of it! Also, we enjoyed it so much... More
