I've never had a bad meal here, breakfast/lunch/dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive, especially the late night waiter, Bruce. Most everything is homemade and delicious, I highly recommend their baked goods!

I was amazed at the variety of different reviews for the Fort, from terrible to great. I have been going there for years and will continue to do so, but I know what to expect. This is a great place to get a burger, fish and chips, beef stroganoff or other diner food. There are booths, tables and even a... More

Great place to eat. The serving sizes are more than enough. It has home cooking and baking, friendly staff.

Great truck stop food with tons of choices. Portions are huge! You may need to wait for a seat but worth it. Don't miss out on muffins and pies they sell as well!

Ate there last week for lunch (Tuesday). Supposed to be burger day, but the burgers listed on a sheet on the outside of the restaurant weren't on the inside menu. The fries were good and the burger itself was just ok. Large, but not much flavor. Couldn't quite figure it out. I'd give it a C. I will give their... More

This is a typical American diner serving good plain food. The service is fast and friendly. Great place for breakfast or lunch

My husband and I are in our 60s & 70s and are on SSI so we don't go out very often. When we do we tend to go to our favorite restarants The Fort being one of them. We traveled 30 miles each way. The food is always wonderful and normally we have no problem with the service. Let me... More

The staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant. At first, we were a bit skeptical as it was attached to a gas station and a mini mart. Yet, once our food arrived, we were so happy. I had a delicious omelette and my husband had terrific pancakes with real maple syrup. We took a homemade muffin to go and it... More

In a pinch, it is nice to know that you can be served breakfast and called "Hon" by a waitress with a smoker's voice, 24 hours a day at this truck stop diner right off Exit 18 on I-89. The chili is good too. I have only eaten here a few times, mostly when everyplace else is closed.

Right off I-89 exit 18 with plenty of parking. Food is homemade and amazing quantity. If you like donuts, get the cruller and you can have it made into french toast. Dessert is a must before you leave, so save room.
