We read about this wonderful bakery on TripAdvisor. We stopped Saturday at 1:00 to find a very pleasant, very clean, busy business. What a find! We started with 2 cups of soup that came with fresh, flavorful bread. It was perfect on a chilly day....We ordered takeout for two turkey sandwiches, a piece of Swiss cheese quiche, slice of pizza, cinnamon roll, a loaf of cranberry buckwheat bread. All were exceptionally delicious. Whenever we are in Lancaster we will absolutely make this our go to place.More

It’s so nice to eat ethnic food. We had babka which was delicious. I remember my grandmother making it. She makes different fresh bread, but as we were only passing through it wasn’t ready yet. She’s got some breakfast items too, but we opted for...sweets and delicious coffee, but took some cookies for the road.More

We found this place by accident but boy are we glad we stopped. We had breakfast there and the food was so good. We had the egg sandwich on a freshly baked brioche bread. Oh it was so good. They had fresh lettuce and tomatoes...with a Dijon mayo. It really was so delicious. They also have fresh baked pastries and cookies. I bought one Almond horn and so wish I bought more. It was one of the best cookies I ever had. This place is so cute, the food is great and the staff was so friendly.More

A long multi day road trip across multiple states + morning hotel coffee + quick stops along the way = why we experienced complete joy when we found this absolute gem of a bakery/eatery. Not only do they offer amazing pastries and breads, the people...were cordial and welcoming.. Their mulled cider is the best we've ever experienced. It is a must place to stop..shop and enjoy.More

We visited twice during our brief stay in the next town. Everything is made fresh and service was friendly. Loved every pastry we tried here. This was a great find and a nice alternative to eating at the hotel.

The name says Polish Bakery and I was just disappointed that there wasn’t much in terms of polish treats. I was really hoping it lived up to the name. Now don’t get me wrong it appeared to have delicious foods but I wanted more authentic...polish eats. Sorry I was jaded by the name.More

This place is amazing for where it is. In this small, charming, but still very small town in northern New Hampshire you have this terrific little bakery cafe. We sampled three types of pastry and two of bread. Everything was excellent, as good as you...might be able to get in Boston or New York. Our absolute favorite item was the apple gallette which was a sort of mini apple pie in puff pastry. Highly recommended!More

By the time we got there at 12:30 on a Saturday the bread was all gone! Scored on Sunday morning. There are different breads daily, as well as their basic breads. We purchased a Kalamata olive breat which was excellent. The VOLLKORNBROT was very dense,...but delicious - the loaf was very heavy - great toasted.More

Great reviews online and the recommendation of a friend sent us here on our way home. Poppyseed bagel was the best I have had in decades and the Chocolate Croissant was superb. Also enjoyed the french bread and scone. Place is well managed and smoothly...run even in the midst of covid.More

If you find yourself in the north country of New Hampshire especially Lancaster, and looking for a good lunch spot or quick bakery snack, I recommend the polish princess. Mt wife and i stopped in for a quick Cinnabon and expresso. Both were great.
