We had a wonderful dinner here last night, what a gem. The meals were excellent, I had chicken parm, my husband had the lobster ravioli, which he said he hadn’t had lobster ravioli with actual pieces of lobster in it in years, and both were...delicious. The eggplant rollatini and cheesecake were also great. The staff were all very attentive without being intrusive. There was a wonderful singer who had a great voice and nice set of songs. We’re told they’ll be closing for the winter soon but we’ll look forward to returning in the Spring!More

The four of us dined here after an exciting day at the Timberman 70.3 Triathlon. The dining room is very pleasant, and the staff is vey welcoming and attentive. A couple of us shared a large and tasty caprese salad with a generous amount of...very fresh basil. I had the seafood risotto, which was packed with seafood. Another had the lobster ravioli. It too was well stuffed with lobster. Good reports on the salmon and the haddock. All around it was a very pleasant dining experience.More

Fine dining at this waterfront restaurant. Friday evenings have live easy country music with a dance floor! The singer this evening had a lovely voice. There were a variety of seafood and beef entrees. Scallop dish and filet mignon were delicious. Service was wonderful.

Great service and food. Dined here twice the week we were here. The views were fabulous and you can have this downstairs on the waterfront too.

Their live entertainment sang happy birthday to our friend which was great. They also provided a great variety of desserts to choose from and personalized with a happy birthday message which was a nice touch. Seafood was very good, though some of the lobster dishes...should of included more lobster for the value. Overall would come back.More

Arrived with our group of friends and were promptly seated.; a fun, friendly place situated right on the lake in Paugus Bay. Dinner for 8, each ordering something different, was excellent. Dessert is out of this world….personally made by the owner, Cynthia’s 97 year old...mother, who insists on baking. Girlfriends were in visiting and after the Tiki Hut Boats we decided on the Blue Bistro for dinner. Now, I have lived in the Lakes Region for almost 20 years and had not ever tried this restaurant inside the Naswa. We were not disappointed, many...of us had the Lobster Ravioli and it was delightful. Another friend had the salmon. The waiter was good but our only negative comment is that when the bill came it had added entrees that were not ours. Good thing we looked at the description, not sure how that happened but he resolved it quickly.More

A gracious welcome by the hostess, giving us a wonderful table with a view with no reservation! We were even offered to move to a better table just before our meal arrived and we did, and the staff moved us with little effort. We were...impressed! The menu was standard fare with nothing local offered: lobster, fish, scallops, chicken & beef as you would find anywhere else. Why are there no restaurants on this beautiful lake, surrounded by these incredible mountains that offer locally grown or raised food? The meals were average at best. Frankly I was disappointed.More

The Blue Bistro offers very good food and a wonderful view of the lake. In addition to the food we enjoyed the singer/piano-man. We ordered their haddock, chicken parmesan and burgers. Be sure to leave room for dessert as they were delicious! Thanks to Hyva...for the excellent service she gave us.More

After years of boating past the Naswa, we finally pulled in on a hot Friday evening and climbed the stairs to the restaurant itself, instead of its menu on the beach. What a wonderful venue. Views of the lake, darkened and cool, it was a...wonderful spot. And the food ... oh my. Not only a great menu, lots of seafood and steak dishes, wonderful sides, absolutely top-notch service, and the presentation was absolutely gorgeous. We were a party of 3 and each had something different and there was not a crumb left when done. Wonderful olive bread accompanied the meal, and the dessert tray was the nicest I have ever seen in 40 years of world travel, all made in-house by the family matriarch. Do not miss this restaurant, it is Laconia's absolute best. The soft live music beginning at 6 was wonderful.More

We were tired after a long day of driving and pleased to find a restaurant at our lodging site. Our server was off the charts warm, welcoming, professional, unobtrusive but there when we needed her. I think her name was Stacey (and am so sorry...I could be wrong). Lobster bisque was creamy, rich in flavor and filled with quality lobster. My husband had the prime rib and although it was not medium well as he requested it was reportedly very good. My “Greek salad” was a total disappointment. Although the lettuce was crisp and fresh, a few black olives does not a Greek salad make. The dressing did not approximate a Greek dressing. It was overly sweet (the chef told our server that it was made with honey), and lacking in traditional herbs and flavor such as lemon, oregano, quality oil etc. it should NOT be offered as a Greek salad but simply accurately described on the menu.More
