My husband and I went here on our visit to Laconia New Hampshire. We ordered the scotch egg which was fantastic. The olive dish was also wonderful. The place was rustically charming and had a warm atmosphere. The best place by far in Laconia. Loved the tappas menu!!!😍

This is a truly unique and most memorable restaurant. You sit at various bar settings. The decorations are eclectic and stimulating. The menu contains a highly disparate list of highly original options. Stuffed dates, crispy haddock, sautéed greens, and French fries were well prepared. The wine list is original and intriguing. Can't believe this most sophisticated place is in Laconia!

Shared multiple plates that were flawless. Great variety of meat and vegetarian selections with generous portions. Owner spends time with each table. Wait staff is highly trained. Great find in Laconia even off season. !

Tavern 27 is a real find if you are looking for a unique dining experience. My husband and I try to eat there whenever we are in the Laconia area. Guests familiar with tapas know what to expect, but basically for those who are unfamiliar with that concept,it is "small plates" dining. A wide variety of foods--from offerings like a... More

Most of the other reviews have mentioned the niceties and features of this place. We'll add that it's kind of nice to go to a place right out there in the boonies. No parking issues to speak of, even on a busy night. Do make a reservation, okay? -- during peak season, by which I mean summer months, you'll need... More

Tavern 27 on Parade Road north of Laconia is a place that I have been wanting to try for months. Sunday evening we decided it was time. The web site recommended making a reservation so we did. I suggest that you do the same. Once there, we were greeted warmly. The host gave us an overview of the Tavern since... More

They call this an Americanized Tapas restaurant, mainly because portions are larger than most Tapas restaurants. The variety is awesome and everything is made to order for how ever many are at your table. Sometimes they offer a Chef's choice where you get a variety of plates chosen by the Chef. Our table of 5 did this last weekend and... More

We visited this restaurant with friends after a day on the lake, they had eaten there before and it was highly recommended, they were not wrong, Friendly greeting by the owner, warn inviting bar area. The tapas was excellent, we have eaten this type of meal many times in Europe and this was up there with the best, each course... More

Upon arriving with my beautiful sister in law at this lovely spot we were immediately intrigued! The ambiance was such that we were transported back in time with the warm eclectic atmosphere! We sat at the small 6 seat piano bar and found the other 4 people were also pre-Rod Stewart dining that added tons of fun! The servers were... More
