We had three tapas and drinks for the night. The Cloud 9 shrimp was amazing. I loved the sauce. The highlight was the bread pudding for dessert. I usually do not like bread pudding but this was incredible. I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Our Inkeepers set up our reservations and were very excited to hear our review of this restaurant. Can't provide one as we were asked to exit the tavern and wait in the parking lot. We were told there was no room at the bar, no room in the small entrance way, or anywhere else inside. The owner appeared annoyed that... More

We have been a customer sense the opening of Tavern 27. Ray and Leslie are wonderful hosts and are a asset to the Lakes Region. They offer American twist to a typical Tapas Restaurant, with larger potations. WE have introduced many friends to the Tavern and now they return on their own The clam chowder if the best and save... Great meal! We took a shot in the dark on this restaurant looking for something different and we were very happy we did! The food was terrific, the waitstaff friendly and informative and the building was interesting. The most fun of all was the piano player who came around to talk to everyone and you can text requests! And he... More

We checked our GPS for restaurants, and The Mystic Meadows popped up. When we arrived, the sign said Tavern 27. A bit confused, we pulled into the partially filled parking lot at 2 PM on Sunday afternoon. The tavern specializes in oversized Tapas. Actually, I suggest you think of each item as an entree unto itself. I ordered a super... More

Very small old tavern with super friendly people. We sat at a high table near the piano bar. The clam chowder was tasty but a little thick. The baked haddock was excellent served with a nice tartar sauce. The sauteed greens were delicious with a slight asian flavor and cooked with garlic. The cuke lobster wrap was excellent. Their menu... More

It is like walking into a mid 1900 tavern, The bar is attractive and has incredible atmosphere. They also have a grand piano set up with seating and I've heard quite a bit of singing along with the live music. The American Tapas style makes for a different twist and a great overall experience. The food itself could use a... More

This tapas style historic restaurant provides a great menu selection with great service that offers friendly help with all the interesting selections. While a bit off the beaten path along the lake this restaurant is worth trying for a tasty snack or a delicious full course meal.

Entering the restaurant for the first time, you get a warm welcome and therefore immediately a good feeling. The owner explained the concept of the restaurant as Tapas Americanas, i.e. tapas, but bigger than the originals. And the first tapas were going to be on the house ... Given I know Spain well, it is my second home, I have... More

Small family outing over the long July 4th weekend. We played some golf on their friendly, low key par 3 golf course. Then enjoyed sharing probably one too many tapas plates. The Pi water (locally bottled water) they serve complimentary is a nice touch. My experience has always involved a complimentary tapas plate to start us off. The plates come... More
