Traditional diner style venue with great service and all the great options of a diner. Breakfast and lunch both great.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so any regular eggs and bacon won't do. We are new to the lakes region and have tried several spots and so far, The Union Diner is the best breakfast place on Paugus Bay. Traditional diner setting with untraditional, tasty food and wonderful service. We can't wait to try it for lunch... More

Looks like an innocuous little diner, but it's a terrific restaurant in disguise. The service was as good as I've had in upscale, pricy restaurants and my food was terrific. I really wanted fish chowder, but we were late and it was already sold out. So I just got corn chowder and a salad. Sounds ordinary, but wasn't! Chowder was... More

Always go on Friday for the ayce fried haddock. Always fresh and delicious! They also have a great selection of craft beers! Lots of typical home cooked items available.

Very good breakfasts and good homefries, this place is a typical diner in an old diner car that has been expanded. Active local spot with well-worn old diner ambiance. Waitresses are quick and experienced. Nice place to sit at the counter and read the paper while eating. Reasonable prices for most items but the seafood dishes are a bit overpriced... More

I had the pleasure of having a quick lunch today at Union dinner. The service was friendly, fast and the steak tips were perfectly cooked and the marinade was awesome.

This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch, across the street from Paugus Bay (Lake Winnapesaukee) and Barton's Motel. Formerly the Paugus Diner, it's a charming old historical diner (with a small dining room addition) which has been maintained over the years and still has that retro diner feeling - and food. They provide a nice range of good... More

Union Diner is a cozy, old time diner with an updated menu. Coffee was served hot and delicious. Bacon done perfectly. Not too crispy, not too chewy. Service was very friendly with coffee refills offered frequently. My husband had the Veggie Bennie with hash browns. Veggies were tasty under the egg. Hollandaise was acceptable. Altogether it worked and it was... More

Nice place for breakfast. It gets busy on weekends as all breakfast places in lakes region but the service is great so the wait is never unreasonable Food is very good and of the many times i have been there i have always had friendly and attentive servers. The prices are reasonable and you can choose to sit in the... More
