Visited for late lunch on Labor Day, they were busy but very fast. My wife and I had quinoa bowls, maple turkey and ginger chicken. Both were large delicious and had lots of quinoa. Coffee is vey good. The maple browny (blonde) is fabulous. Great place for lunch, and we took half home for dinner.

Dear aburnham2, Thank you very much for your review! We're really proud of the new quinoa bowls and thrilled that the maple turkey and ginger chicken were to your liking and fed you over two meals!! Our turkey and chicken come from cage-free, vegetarian-diet humane-treatment farms, which we're so happy to bring to you, our customers! Thanks, and hope to... More

Family lunch while in Keene. While I usually don't like to order at a counter and then wait for food the food was worth the wait here. I had aThai chicken sandwich which was delicious.

I think this place used to be good. We moved here in January (2016) and stopped in for bagels and coffee... Wasn't bad, kind of a unique spot to hang. This spring they updated and it feels a lot more like they're trying to justify pricey dishes and up sells. We were actually in the restaurant at an off time... More

Great selection of unusual food combinations. We had lunch and sat outside. The restaurant was busy and still food was delivered quickly. Primarily a sandwich and salad place.

Dear WWorker: I'm so glad you enjoyed your sandwich! As you said, we offer some wonderfully delicious and unusual items, including organic quinoa bowls (my personal favorite is the Sesame Ginger Chicken), for lunch and dinner. Please come back and try something new, we look forward to your visit! More

Lunched here today after touring the Horatio Colony House down the street. Staff are young, enthusiastic and helpful. About 14 different sandwiches and many salads, this is a "place your order/take it to your table yourself" kind of place. Yes, it is a chain, with many locations…. but each has its own unique physical space and staff energy. This one... More

Nice little bakery/restaurant. Went here for breakfast with the fam while we were in town for a wedding. I just had a couple of pastries and "half" a cappuccino. Everybody else had gourmet breakfast sandwiches. Everything was enjoyed. I only thought service could have smiled more is all.

Our first visit has given my wife and I reason to return. We both selected 1/2 Super Chicken sandwich with green salad. In addition, I ordered clam chowder. The sandwiches were excellent, the salads were fresh/prepared well, and the chowder was a tasty addition to my meal. Adding to the experience were the welcoming staff and clean, comfortable environment.

I've enjoyed their bagels and coffee for more than twenty years. It's a convenient place to meet friends or a good place to read and relax.

This has been my favorite coffee shop in Keene for 9 years. Good selection of morning beverages and baked goods to go with them.

The Works is my favorite place in Keene, NH, my former home. I love the coffee, the window for people watching, the location (easy to hit several Main St. stores from there), and the bagels. I highly recommend it. I guess my only complaint is that I don't know as many of the other patrons as i used to--I only... More
