After a disappointing breakfast buffet at our hotel the day before, we decided to venture out to find a better place. We found it! We were lucky to arrive and get a table right away. The place was rustic, but homey and clean. We were greeted by Trisha, one of the owners. She instantly made us feel welcome, gave us... More

They have huge delicious pancakes! As they are known for the pancake being their specialty that is what everyone ordered. Different toppings/stuffings but everyone liked them. Plus they serve real maple syrup by default! No extra charge! But get there early we got in at 8:15 and as we were getting ready to leave at 8:45 their was a line.

Great food, nice atmosphere and worth the wait in line if busy! The portions are big and taste great! Nice gift shop also!

Its labor day weekend so waiting 20 minutes for a table was to be expected. What I dont get is why once we were seated & brought our drinks we had to wait another 20 minutes for the waitress to come back and get our order. My guess is they're over worked (NOT COOL) The food though was hands down... More

Parking is tricky. The wait for a table can be long. BUT... it is so worth it!! The pancakes are huge, light, and delicious - especially with the pure maple syrup. Big servings - go hungry! Very reasonably priced.

Stoped here as a family on our way North last month. Place was busy and popular we noticed with locals! We were greeted by the owner and placed near the gift shop area. Our waitress was quick to bring us "first" drinks but she seemed to be the ONLY waitress working that morning. She never came back to refill my... More

The WaterWheel is a go-to place for breakfast (well, honestly, it's the only local breakfast place, but it's so good I have driven there to eat!). I always get blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup. The service is okay - kind of reminds me of the way servers are in a diner. It's a small place and busy and they... More

We showed up on a Saturday morning so I was, expecting it to be busy but we waited inside and saw 5 tables ready to be sat. Nope a party of 10 came in behind us and we're sat 1st. Finally after an hour if waiting we got sat. Food was good and the waitress was solid. Not sure if it... More

We went camping at Moosebrook State Park and found this little gem of a place on our travels. The staff is very friendly and the service was fast. The pancakes are big but thin so they're not overly filling. Southwest omelet was delicious as was the cornbread. I would definitely go back if I was in the area again.
