BEST Breakfast Place in NH!!

My family and I have been coming to the Water Wheel for many years. Hands-down it is our favorite place for breakfast as compared to any other. It is not fancy, but rather it is rustic. There is a pot belly wood burning stove that is normally on during the winter months and the floors are wood... read more

Went for lunch, not breakfast, so the breakfast rush was over and we didn't have an issue with a wait. We were told to take a booth once the bus boy finished clearing the dirty dishes. We weren't seated by the hostess like at a normal restaurant but nbd! The table had a fun and challenging "iq tester" which was... More

We got there early enough that we only had to wait ten minutes or so. We ordered the Mt. Madison. One pancake which was huge, one egg, toast, bacon, home fries. More then enough food. And it was prepared perfectly. Only glitch was waitress forgot one item and she waited one three other people before she got what we needed.

Place is always full when I drive by so thought I'd try it out. I went on a quite day but still the service was slow ordered pancakes. The food was only average nothing to special for the price.

To start off, we've been here before and had similar service but this takes the cake. The food is OK and inexpensive but what we went through is NOT worth it. We arrived and there was a line. Not atypical on a Friday or weekend. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait. We all agreed, let's wait... More

Without a doubt WW is the best breakfast north of the Notches. Like pancakes? My personal favorite, a plate sized piece of perfection served with their own syrup. Worth the wait if there's a line.

Lots of food for a great price! I had an omelet with cheddar cheese, ham and tomato - the omelet was huge and very cheesey!! It was delicious, I will definitely get it again. The homefries were cooked just right - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The only disappointment was the pancake.......although it was huge, it was... More

I loved this restaurant! There's so many things to look at and there's a small giftshop in the back as well with some cute things for travelers. I loved the variety of things for breakfast and the portions were massive for the price. I like to think I can eat a pretty healthy sized breakfast and was sad I had... More
