My husband and I went here for our 12 year anniversary dinner. We had done quite a bit of research, and traveled further to go here as the reviews and menu looked appealing. However, the service was dismal! We do believe it was only our...waiter that was poor, as we frequently saw the other waiter and waitress attending to their patrons. We sat at our table, waiting for over 20 minutes before we even saw our waiter, who then didn't even bother to introduce himself. We rarely saw him throughout our meal, and had to wait so long that in spite of WANTING dessert, we opted to leave rather than wait even longer (since we had already been there for an hour and a half). The food itself was disappointing and not worth the expensive bill. (I had the duck which my husband who is a sous chef said was not cooked correctly; the fat was not rendered down as it should have been.) Overall, it was really disappointing as we had so looked forward to this dinner...More

The Christmas Farm Inn has become a staple for any trip we take up to New Hampshire. The ambiance is calm, and almost has an aura that assures you will be well taken care of. Our waiter was charismatic, friendly, and very professional. Before anyone...sits down at a table, they disinfect anything you can touch. I had the Wild Mushroom Risotto, and I must say it was so good I forgot to take pictures of the other meals we ordered. However, trust me when I say they were all visually stunning and delicious. We will continue to come here every time we vacation up north.More

We have stayed at the Christmas Farm Inn quite a few times over the past 40+ years and it never, ever disappoints. We planned this getaway around the Monday night 2-for-! special and couldn't have been happier with the food, the service, and the attention...to the health and safety of diners. What I love about returning to the Inn is that they have kept their wait staff for years; I consider this a sign of a well-run establishment. It was great seeing Kathy, Joshua, and Madison for the third time this year! (Fortunately, we only live a 2+ hour drive away, so visit in all seasons.)More

We were looking for a nice evening out in Jackson for our anniversary. Many other restaurants were closed on a Sunday. We easily made reservations, and the establishment didn't disappoint. We weren't surprised that it was a slow night given the current Covid situation and...restaurants just reopening, as well as a small menu. But, what was offered was delicious. Large servings filled our plates. We had the Mushroom and Beef Pappardelle, Glazed Duck, and Pork Bolognaise, after starting with the seafood chowder. All were amazing. Would definitely visit again.More

My fiancee had stayed a few times at a hotels in the area but had never gotten the chance to try the Christmas Farm Inn for dinner. We drove all the way from Bethlehem and arrived at 5:00PM when they opened. Didn't realize it was...2 For 1 Entree night, and every table but one was reserved, (lucky us!). Had a couple nice cocktails, and one of the best bowls of seafood chowder I have every eaten anywhere. We both had wiener schnitzel, which was a nightly special. Tender and cooked to perfection. Can't say enough good things about this place. will definitely be revisiting the Christmas Farm Inn our next time in the area.More

We had a Birthday dinner with 2 families right after Christmas, 2019. The atmosphere was special with little white lights strung inside a cozy, log cabin-feel interior with a fireplace in our room. The service was spot on and left nothing to be wanted. The...food was amazing for both adults and children alike. Adult meals choices were hearty and gourmet. The kids were able to order Mac and cheese, grilled cheese, chicken fingers and fries...all of their favorites! Dessert was a chocolate bag filled with brownie and ice cream and was delightful!More

We stayed at The Christmas Farm Inn for the weekend, 4 adults. The Inn itself is quaint, beautifully decorated, well-kept, and welcoming, while maintaining a kind of family-oriented, casual feel. The food at the restaurant is terrific, both breakfast and dinner, and the servers are...attentive, friendly, and professional. We never lacked for morning coffee! The spa services are very good as well - we all had massages which were relaxing and very well done. The pool is lovely and the hot tub hot, both very clean and attractively situated. All the staff were accommodating, kind, and attentive. We all enjoyed our stay tremendously, and would definitely return! Hint - reserve for dinner and spa services asap!More

Great experience and awesome food. As good as any Boston restaurant. The staff including our waiter John Paul made my wife’s birthday special with a special dessert and singing. We had a party of 8 and they handled the service as a Five star restaurant....Will go back againMore

My wife and I had bid on and won a gift certificate to the Christmas Farm Inn and finally worked out a date and time to try it out (after she used *another* certificate at the spa). Our server was John, and he was friendly...and engaging- a real delight as our server. I started with a diet soda and demi garden salad; my wife had a glass of White Have Savignon Blanc and a bowl of Seafood Chowder. Both were incredibly good. I was hesitant but decided to try the Pomegranate Beet tips as my entree while my wife had the Scallops with Saffron Cream. We managed to finish them and save room for a dessert to share- the Chocolate Bag, which is a dark chocolate "bag" containing vanilla ice cream, brownie, chocolate sauce, heath bar crunch, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream for two- and we could not finish it (although we did take care of the ice cream, whipped cream, and sauces leaving enough of the chocolate bag to bring home for later snacking- it was fantastic. Total cost with tax but before tip was just over $100, and my wife and I agreed it was money well spent. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, or just want more than your average restaurant fare, this is a wonderful choice.More
