We had dinner and l lunch on the veranda. There was something of a wait for a table as it is first come first serve and it seemed a bit understaffed. But it was worth the wait. The food is very good--try the lettuce wedge salad with a unique dressing--and the view of the mountains spectacular.

As much as I love the Eagle Mountain House on my last visit I found the restaurant to be hit and miss. I returned in July 2016 after a new chef joined the staff and was happily surprised. I ended up eating on the veranda all three nights of my trip and thought the food and atmosphere were great. If... More

The burger and fries at the Eagle Landing certainly satisfy. The burger was well prepared and served on a brioche bun. The fries were exceptional and are offered with rosemary and truffle oil as an option. Enjoy it on the veranda with a cold drink.

The New England Clam Chowder was THE BEST I've ever had. The chef used smoked bacon which gave this dish an incredible flavor. The rest of our meal was far above average. We were there in May, which is considered shoulder season between winter skiing and summer golfing. The restaurant and bar were only staffed by one server. He was... More

The staff is genuinely hospitable. I sat at the bar and Kathy and Carol were very knowledgable on the menu in making recommendations. Chef Vanessa also came out to say hi and see how everything was. I had a glass of Malbec, the French onion soup to start, followed by the scallops for my entree. The soup was quite filling... More

A new chef has taken over as of this past year and the food has improved to the point of being world class. We had lunch and dinner and were impressed as to the food quality, taste, and presentation. Prices are reasonable.

This is one of those great old inns. The food is good but the ambience is great. Order a drink and sit out on the rocking chairs on the huge porch and drink in the scenery. Very pleasant.

This menu is contemporary, healthy and delicious and the atmosphere terrific. With all the choices in the Valley, this is something worth prioritizing.
