Having been given rave reviews from the hotel we stayed in ,the family were looking forward to a great meal. The pub only served up to 9pm and although we were there in time, we were refused a table as there were at least 2 other parties waiting, the pub is obviously very popular but we felt the organisation on... What a fun way to eat and drink. It's a cool different type of atmosphere, country looking. Good entertainment and the food was good also.

What a beautiful cabin environment nestled into a hillside where you can expect to see horses graze. The environment, the service and the FOOD were AMAZING. My husband melted over his duck, my son inhaled the mac and cheese and my salad was literally the most amazing thing I have ever eaten, to date. Of all our traveling in New... More

We like to go here when they have entertainment (music). You are in a barn with country atmosphere. The food is good and I think you will enjoy it.

Exhausted from a long day climbing Mt. Washington, I had dinner at the bar and enjoyed the lobster, shrimp, and scallop dinner. Seasoned well and quite tasty. I also enjoyed the two singers that performed there on Thursdays. Great end to a memorable day.

This place is so cool inside, like an old converted barn with a bar and a restaurant area. It's very warm and cozy, especially on a windy cold New Hampshire winter day. Very good service and drinks. I've only had appetizers at the bar, but thoroughly enjoyed everything. Definitely plan to have a real sit down meal here soon.

We did not expect the talented live performers on a Thursday evening which enhanced the rustic atmosphere and wonderful food we experienced. The staff was attentive and the wine selection extensive. Overall an outstanding night out!

Food was great. The Thursday special - 2 dinners and a bottle of wine for $45.00 was perfect. Ample portions and cooked perfectly. A singer and guitar player "Touch of JD" were awesome, a nice accompaniment for dinner music. Desert the brownie sundae - one is enough for two. Our server Jennifer was great. Would definitely go again.

This is a bit of a weird venue as it appears to be hit or miss if it is open or not as they host a lot of weddings. We didn't mind the 30 minute wait for a table, but we did mind the 45 minute wait for pasta and fish and chips. The pasta was delicious but the fish... More

Accommodations, food and staff was great. Would definitely book there again. There was a babbling brook, and a pond where people can fish if they want to. The grounds were beautiful.
