This is a bit of a weird venue as it appears to be hit or miss if it is open or not as they host a lot of weddings. We didn't mind the 30 minute wait for a table, but we did mind the 45 minute wait for pasta and fish and chips. The pasta was delicious but the fish... More

Accommodations, food and staff was great. Would definitely book there again. There was a babbling brook, and a pond where people can fish if they want to. The grounds were beautiful.

Had an early dinner here. Opted for the lobster risotto. Pretty good, heavy sauce, plenty of lobster. Also sampled a few local beers that were available on tap.

Started with corn chowder . The best we had! We both ordered the steak special, which was cooked to perfection. The servers were excellent.

Like décor of the place. Service was a little slow, we were a party of 8 and one of the meals was never entered. Our waitress did not take ownership, mistakes happen. Food was very good and would go back again.

Four years after my last visit we went back with friends. The dinning room has all the charm and warmth it had before and the food was even better. The Lobster Bisque was GREAT! Two of us had steaks the New York and the Hanger Both perfectly cooked and served. The others had salads, one topped with salmon the other... More

This is the place for a great burger and a few beers with friends. My mistake though when I ordered the Friday night special, eggplant and pasta. ( wicked bad) eggplant came from ocean state job lot! Should have known better. Great atmosphere. Will be back though for that beer and burger.

They really cram people into small spaces, 6-7 people were seated at a 4-top table for dinner, behind us. Their chairs were jammed into the back of my husband's chair. No big deal you might say, but after a bill of $108 without a tip, for 3 people, you expect comfortable seating without having your chair bumped into all night.... More

This place had been on our "to try" list for a long time and with the crazy crowds in the center of North Conway on Columbus Day weekend it seemed like a good time. We arrived fifteen minutes after opening and found there was already a half hour wait. We grabbed a seat downstairs by the fire and the time... More

After skiing, we stopped at this lovely old pub and restaurant for a beer and a scotch. Well we got to talking with a few locals and a few hours later well..... Great selection of Bourbons, Straight Ryes and Scotches, the menu looked great and we were told by customers that the food is outstanding too. We'll eat there next... More
