This Restraurant is very good value for money for lunch. The food is well presented and very tasty. Service good and atmosphere fun.

One of the better restaurants in Hanover, have been here several times during visits there. The ambiance isn't anything special, but the food and service are very good.

We stopped in for a glass of wine and a shared appetizer with no intention of staying for dinner. Our "it's 5 0'clock somewhere" stop turned into a leisurely evening which included two appetizers, one delicious shared entree, a spectacular dessert, and a variety of spirits. Service was outstanding, every dish we had was just right, and the live pianist... More

We eat here once every two years or so when we travel through Hanover. The food does not seem as stellar as in the past. We had a Peshawari Chicken and the pappardelle. Both were good but not spectacular. A little too light on seasoning. The guitarist was great, though and service respectable. Well-priced for what it is and crowded... More

We were staying in Lyme and had eaten at the local establishments there and were looking for something different. The Canoe Club fit the bill, the appetizers were artfully served and very good. The entree's were equally artful and also very good. The service was very good, attentive without being to much so. The live entertainment was a plus, on... More

Average. Nice staff food was ok but I wasn't overly impressed. Wine list good by bottle but selection by the glass limited.

Good, attentive service without being smothering. My appetizer was outstanding -- a generous portion of plump, juicy mussels, excellent french fries and a good dip for the fries. (Order the fries on the side.) My entree was kind of a misfire -- meat loaf that appeared to be quite charred on the outside. But my wife's lemon mustard chicken was... More

The owner is the consummate host; he clearly loves his roll, and his staff will go out of their way to be accommodating. There are only two reasons I don't dine there more often: (1) I live locally and prefer to cook for myself; (2) bowing to the increasing popularity of Mexican-type cuisine, the menu has steadily drifted toward more... This place is just ok. On the fancier side of things in the area but for the price I don't think it's worth it. I've been two dif. times - one for drinks - it was slammed hardly a place to sit - too loud - drink wasn't good at all - only had about two sips and just couldn't.... More

This is a nice restaurant in Hanover with a limited but alluring menu, comfortable atmosphere, and leisurely service. We all enjoyed our food selections, including cassoulet, gnocchi with exotic mushrooms, and a cheeseburger. Each dish was interesting and well seasoned. The restaurant offers a wide selection of wine and beer on tap. Our Monday evening visit was enhanced by MarkoMarko,... More
