A great place for Kids and adults alike. The choice and variety of flavors these are so subtle that one needs to try all (not at the same time) One can ask for a tasting before ordering. The serving cups are small medium and large, you can get up to three flavors in the small cup.

This is a "must stop" whenever we're in Hanover. It's nice to sit outside after dinner or a trip to the cinema next door, and watch the world go by. The gelato tastes like the flavour it's supposed to be and not sickly sweet artificial junk. The coffee and lattes aren't bad either.

While I was really sad to see our Ben & Jerry's go all those years ago, I absolutely cannot complain about Morano Gelato. I know the comparison is apples to oranges, but this gelato is So. Good. !!! So fresh, so delicious, and an ever-changing case, with local additions whenever possible. Love it!

Morano Gelato serves the best gelato I think I've ever tasted, including those I had on a trip through numerous towns in Italy. The shop is simple and clean, and let's you sample any of the dozen or so flavors they make fresh each morning. No matter what I sample, I always come back to the dark chocolate. If you... More

Most college towns have a Ben & Jerry's or similar type of ice cream shop, Hanover for some reason has a gelato shop, but it is a good place to drop into for dessert after dinner.

Following our tour of Dartmouth, we enjoyed some delicious gelato from Morano. Both the Stracciatella and the Citron transported me back to Italy. They were rich and flavorful. There is an espresso bar there as well. When we arrived there was a bit of a line but it was well worth the wait for the gelato. The shop is quite... More

Morano has 2 locations: Hanover NH and the Chestnut Hill Mall in Mass. I wish they had more- their gelato is easily the best in New England. You have to try it to believe it! My favorite flavor is their hazelnut, along with espresso and chocolate.

We come here all the time and it is always amazing!!! Hands down the best desert in the Upper Valley! We also go to Dairy Twirl and Fore-U a lot but there is nothing better than Morano Gelato in my opinion.
