Went for dinner on Sunday. Ordered beef stew entree and was surprised by how tasty it was. Definitely a good option for dinner on a budget.

This place had the most awesome burgers. I had stopped one day for a quick lunch after a massage. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had.

Salt Hill has delicious food and is a great alternative to restaurants with two hour wait times on Friday and Saturday nights. They have a wide variety of options and good service. Their pork nachos are particularly popular and they have great beer options. A favorite in Hanover!

Occasional entertainment and passable but not fine food. Burgers are greasy. Not a great vibe unless you're drinking a lot of beer.

We enjoyed the Salt Hill Pub - the bar food, particularly the brussel sprouts, were great. Nice atmosphere, and a live band playing. Will definitely return if in Hanover again.

We stumbled upon this pub after three times around the Commons - looking for a parking place on a Wednesday night. The food is great, the ambience is very friendly, and the place fills up quickly after 7 pm. I was eyeing the meatloaf but finally opted for the Burgundy Steak Tips. The pot roast and the Shepherds Pie looked... More

We have eaten here numerous times and honestly have had some good meals. But more often than not the food is poorly cooked. The French fries are never crisp and last visit they were soggy and barely warm. I have always request a hamburger cooked medium rare but it comes out cooked through. Last visit the fish in the fish... More

We went to participate in a game study for Dartmouth students. Lovely group of guitar players jamming in the background. We ate and drank and it was just fine. Service is good. I had nachos and they were good but sandwiches looked better.

I will start out first and say that I prefer the Lebanon and Newport locations to the Hanover one, which tends to be rather dark and cavernous. Also, we have found the staff at the Hanover branch not particularly attentive on arrival, unlike at their other branches. So given a choice, I recommend driving over to the Lebanon, NH, branch... I moved out of the area a year ago, was in town for business and jumped at the chance to stop in tonight- had the Burger the jake, it was great. When we lived in the area we ate dinner almost every week at the Newport location, and were never disappointed. If you are looking for cold beer, fair prices,... More
