Early Saturday supper, even though before 6 it was starting to get busy. Our waitress was excellent and alll 3 diners enjoyed their entrees. Atmosphere very nice as well.

My husband and I ate dinner here one night and left full and happy. It's a very charming place, and the wait staff was great! We liked it so much, we went back for Sunday brunch and were absolutely floored with amount of food to choose from, and the quality was outstanding !!! If we go back to Hampton this... More

We have been coming here for years and it does not change. I think it looks the same as when it opened way back when. My family had a summer house not far from here. A couple of us live further away than the others now. Since we do not get our fix of fried seafood as often as we... More

The food here is ok. The interior is dark and dull. Prices are average. Needs a good cleaning I mean new flooring fresh paint on walls new dining chairs, booths etc. let's just say we don't eat here nor do I recommend this restaurant.

The Old Salt is always a great experience. Good food, ambiance and service. Brought friends visiting from Minnesota. They Enjoyed dining room one nite and the bar area the next night. Loved the seafood!

This place serves great food. I had the lobster roll it was fantastic. My teenage boys had the steak tips and loved them. This restaurant takes reservations and I highly recommend them as it gets busy in the evenings. The deserts were delicious. Parking is easy, staff is friendly, food is fantastic.

We stopped here for a beer and decided to get something to eat as well. The selections of beers on tap was great and we ordered 2 black & tans, made right with Guinness and bass. The early bird specials were a surprise consisting of soup or salad, entree and desert for a very reasonable $13.99. We had chowder, baked... More

I have been here many times and almost always order the fish and chips. The fish is haddock, always fresh, thick pieces and plenty of them. The chips, French fries, are crisp and plentiful. Be sure and ask for the free rolls as they are warm and served with plain and maple butter. They will bring as many as you... More

We ate in the bar on a holiday weekend Saturday night. Service was a good as you could reasonably expect under the circumstances. Food is very good and in good quantity. Not fine dining, but good fun.

Greeted promptly and pleasantly, seated quickly. Sort of an old school place in terms of decor - wood seats and booths. Server was very friendly, professional, and prompt. I had the Caesar salad and the baked Haddock with Lobster sauce. Salad was good, if a little too much "core" Romaine pieces for my taste. Entree was gigantic! Took home half... More
