Me and my lunch date thought last 80 deg day lunch at the Beach. Ordered A haddock sandwich was the size of McDonald's fish sandwich. My date order stuffed mushrooms that were burnt and stuffed with greasy bread crumbs A big disappointment.

I was drawn to Bernie's by the big sign offering twin lobsters for $15 and it was a great find. Our whole group enjoyed its food (not just lobsters). The dining area is on a large balcony overlooking the ocean. And while we came just...for the food, much to our surprise a band popped up and started to play. So when you combine a good meal with a band and fresh air and good service you have a winner.More

Don't be fooled by the party bar atmosphere, the food is top notch. Clam Chowder had a spicy chipotle kick to it. Yum. Stuffed Mushrooms were best I ever had. Lobster bisque was real good with lots of lobster chunks. Nice house salad with raspberry...vinaigrette which was quite tasty. The towering chocolate cake was more than enough for 3 people and was other wordily and super rich served with good ice cream. It can be pricey though so account for that beforehand.More

Went for Music only. After first set secruity came up to our table ,which was front row, and accused us of vaping.. Due to Covid there was no standing or dancing. A backstage member came up in front of me and stood and started filming...the performer . After several songs i stood because i could not see.stage with person filming The secruity came over and told me to sit down but when asking about person standing infront of me was told. he was with the band so he can stand in front of me.! !But the social distance rules were no standing or dancing. On the way out secruity was chasing people across the street who were also standing at end of show to leave. Also a bug was found on one of our plates.More

Food and drinks were good. Great view and great oysters. Outside dining on the deck well worth the wait.

We have spent 4 nights here at Hampton with a family of six and a small service dog. We have had no issues at the resort, the beach, restaurants, even the small aquarium. That is until we wanted to have a quick lunch to end...our trip at Bernie on the upper decks. We were told no dogs allowed. I explained that it is a service dog. We were told we could eat street level but would not be allowed to enter the establishment and eat upstairs. This is discrimination and frankly very upsetting.More

There was a 15 minute dinner wait which was not a problem. We checked in with the hostess, waited at the bar, and had a drink. After 15 minutes the female hostess (young, reddish hair, freckles) came and grabbed us and let us know our...table was ready. The bartender ended up walking us over to the table as she had gone back to the hostess stand. We sat down at our table and waited for a server. Suddenly a young blonde male host came over and grabbed my shoulder and asked my husband and I to get up and move because he was going to seat different people at our table. We were absolutely baffled and thought it was a joke. We had waited in line, waited our turn, and been seated by not one but two Bernie's staff members. While we calmly tried to explain to him that we had already waited our turn, He very rudely pointed in our face and continued to grab at our chairs to “shake” us out of them, and said we needed to get back in line and wait again because no one had said anything to him about seating us. The bartender saw this all happening and came over to try to explain that we had already waited once, and had been given the OK by the female hostess to sit there. The blonde boy host continued to argue with us and speak very rudely to us and demand we get back in line. He continued to put his hands on the back of my chair to try to almost dump the chair out. This was absolutely mortifying as we are grown adults who were just looking to have a nice dinner and had waited our turn and done nothing wrong. We obviously were not going to stay at this restaurant and ended up leaving all together. OMFG. Just don't.More

I love this place ! it was my first time going and everything was awesome very large area great for groups! they accommodated us for our son’s birthday and I loved how you could be 18 to get in the live band was amazing all...songs from back in the 80s and 90s the food was delicious and our service was great the only thing was having to wait in line to get in however that’s understandable during the summer and the staff was nice because they will go up to the line and go ahead and check your ID and give you a bracelet they would also see how many people you needed for example if you had a couple you could go up to the bar so you didn’t have to wait so long for a table I would love to come back to Hampton just to go to this place!More

Food is decent and costs what you would expect to pay for an ocean view. 12$ mixed drinks were pretty weak. I would only go in the off hours, nothing here worth standing in a line for.
