As a Record Pool Club DJ I find Jeff the DJ Fun and Energetic! His timeliness and presentation exceptional Always a diplomat! The food and drinks are outstanding! Therefore I have to assume the Two poor reviews were Egotistically motivated and they had their WAZOO...hats on! With several very random visits to the L Street one might think I would have experienced these phenomenon! NOT! I do know that the clientele, staff and DJ are conducive to a great night out!More

I went there with some friends because I heard they had karaoke 7 nights a week, and I'm a pretty fair singer, but the dj was horrible, and the music sounded bad,it took forever to sing because I didn't sing a rock don't,and the dj was doing...some kind of karaoke blocks of rock? I have never been anywhere, where they did that? People were getting up after I put my slip in! I will never go again! Me and my friends will go elsewhere for karaoke, after they saw what happened to me,they wanted to leave, and all 5 of us came in to do karaoke.More

A little skeptical entering the joint. Looked like a real dive bar. However looks are deservingly wrong. This place has awesome food and good prices. Love the service. She was definitely a little sassy but had a great local personality. Loved her! World needs more...people like her. Beer selection was great. Onion rings, steamers and haddock was out of this world. Great place.More

I’ve been here a few times. When my kids were younger and picky eaters ( thankfully the Mac and cheese is amazing!) and now that they’re teens. The service is great- super friendly. The food is good and a better option than the fried food...that’s offered on Ocean Blvd. I’m sure our family will be back!More

Headed to a show at Wally’s and needed a place for a quick bite and a beer. L Street was only a block off of Ashworth Blvd and just a few minutes to walk there. Pretty standard Hampton Beach type of place but they had...some really good sandwich combos. I had a crab cake BLT and really enjoyed it. My wife’s haddock Ruben was really good according to her as well!More

I stayed at eh Blue Jay motel (great place to say if I do say so myself). I asked the owners where to get a good lobster roll and they said the L street Tavern and ask fr the double. So I go there order...an iced tea and a double lobster roll for $16.95. The roll was over running with lobster meat. It was huuuge! I couldn't get my mouth around it to eat it as lobster was falling out of the bun onto my plate. After I finished the roll, I had about 5 or 6 fork fulls of lobster on my plate to eat. Well done L street Tavern!!! The french fries were cooked to perfectly and crispy. THAT meal impressed me, I will be back for another round next time I'm in town! Loved it!More
