The reviews were not great but we had a wonderful meal here. It is a little pricey but the food is fresh, well made and delicious. I suspect that since they are open year round and winter is SLOOOWW, that they have to charge enough...More
I was here for one meal on Thanksgiving evening. Was not terribly hungry so I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and shrimp cocktail. The shrimp was cooked just fine, plenty of cocktail sauce and a wedge of lemon. The clam chowder was another story....More
Popped in here for a burger before attending a concert at the Casino Ballroom down the street. The food was fine and the selection of craft beer was okay. I had a good burger and below average clam chowder. The server was very friendly and...More
Didn't plan ahead to be staying at the Ashworth but ended up there and decided to stay in and eat dinner. Good burger and great fries. Service was good and quick. Nice hotel restaurant. Maybe a touch higher priced.
While staying at the Ashworth By the Sea property, we decided to eat at the Breakers Restaurant as it was connected to the hotel. Our food, my steamed lobster and my wife's baked haddock were very tasty. Our server was very cordial and pleasant. While...More

This Breakers Restaurant was located inside the Ashworth Hotel, so we had low expectations, expecting it to be run-of-the-mill = Spoiler Alert = it is very good!

Popped in here after cycling to Hampton beach. Lots of other options but we ‘needed’ to be in the cool. Lovely service. Husband had a Brie burger which he enjoyed, while I took the giant shrimp cocktail. It certainly had giant shrimp, but, with only...More
A disappointing family dinner here on a Friday evening, although waitstaff was somewhat attentive, pleasant, and apologetic. Entire meal came out very shortly after we ordered--salads, main meals, everything together at the same time. We ordered a second glass of wine when the meal came,...More
Part of the ASHWORTH Hotel this restaurant has 2 dinning areas with 2 large bars which I personally don't care to be in view of when dinning. It does have an ocean view and a dining option at their upstairs deck restaurant. We had a...More

As other reviewers noted, there is valet parking if you wish door-to-door ease. Otherwise, it is often a challenge to find on-street parking without a hike. On nights when there are fireworks or other big crowd events, plan to arrive earlier in the day and park for the duration. The streets are level and drivers accustomed to watching for pedestrians, wheelchairs, strollers, and even pets safely cross, but always look carefully to be sure drivers see you before stepping into their path.
