Very fun little place -- the owner went out of his way to see that everyone was happy. The BLT Mac and Cheese was terrific! Looking forward to visiting again.

We have driven by it a thousand times and finally stopped. Friendly staff and extensive menu. Pub, cozy atmosphere. Everything from sandwiches to entrees & everything in between. Hubbie had the bun less burger with quinoa salad...yum! I had comfort food: Mac & cheese with hamburger & chees...very yum. Portions are huge...took it home for lunch the next day. Rhubarb... More

Basic, good pub restaurant. Nice place with a good staff. Not a children's place. Great if your looking for a drink with snacks.

This place is great!! It is exactly what a neighborhood tavern should look and feel like. Very rustic old tavern with wood floors and lots of ambiance. Great beer list. My husband and I decided to try it for brunch--their benedicts are great (one of the few places that is generous with the hollandaise sauce.) We also tried the Bloody... More

Whenever we go to Maine, we make a detour to this fabulous little restaurant in Hampton New Hampshire. The place itself is cute in a nice old rustic seafaring way, and the food is outstanding. The chowder is the best that I've ever had, and the lobster roll is to die for. Sit outside if the weather is nice.

We had decided to try out the 401 Tavern for dinner yesterday and were happy that we did. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Prime rib was on the menu and my husband and I both ordered it. It came with asparagus and a starch. The asparagus was very tasty and the prime rib was very good as well.... More

We've been a few times now. Wine bottles cover walls, ceiling etc... Very old tavern, rustic, wood floors, great bar and patio as well. Their Mac n cheese is not your average mac n cheese. Forget Kraft, it's more of a Parmesan, alfredo like sauce. Comes plain or as buffalo mac n' cheese, my kids favorite, B.L.T which is bacon,... More

First they have a reserved parking spot for wounded soldiers which is great! The server was amazing! She stayed on top of all of our needs and was super king to our kids. The food was good and a very reasonable price. It came out quickly and was just what we ordered.

Its a comfortable, pleasant enough place. The staff was friendly and attentive. Decor is like a nice comfortable tavern; good place to relax for a bit. Was only there for a couple of drinks and an appetizer. So you may be asking " why not a higher rating?". Well, it was the appetizer. They had "Riblets" on the menu and... More
