This is said to be one of the very best restaurants in the North Country. Chef Liz studied with Julia Child. They have a wide variety of entrées and appetizers. Reservations are advised or you can go next-door to the SAALT Pub which is owned by the same people.

What a great little place. I actually hung out on the Saalt Pub side (Libby's is more of a sit down reservations type place but, they are the same place and serve the same menu). I did not expect to find a place like this in Gorham. This is for foodies or all who appreciate good food. The owner worked... More

We found this restaurant by chance while visiting Mt. Washington on our tour of New England. We turned up without a reservation, but the hostess said she would fit us in as it was terrible weather outside. This was the best meal we had in the whole of our two week holiday. Very fresh and locally sourced. My Thai calamari... More

We have dined at Libby's Bistro three or four times in the past two years. The staff are always friendly, the owners are lovely, and the food...The ever evolving menu is interesting and exciting. What I picture in my mind when I'm ordering is always surpassed by what comes to the table. The ingredients are fresh, local and often organic... More

Same building as Saalt in fact they share the same kitchen and menu just different atmosphere. Libby's is more formal. Food is great and reasonably priced. I would go back without any thoughts!

A truly fine dining experience for a reasonable price. I had the 3 course option. Desserts are to die for. Excellent service and quiet romantic setting.

If there is a better dining experience in the north country, I have not found it yet. A truly inspired menu with many offerings rarely seen elsewhere. Not exotic , exactly, but creative and artfully presented. Many aspire to this level of excellence but so few achieve it. Reservations are suggested. The dining rooms are the main banking areas ,... We had the most enjoyable dinner at Libby's Bistro last night. We were greeted inside the door and our coats were taken, and we were shown to our seats in one of the small, charmingly decorated dining rooms. Roxy, our wonderful server, brought our drinks as we reviewed the menu. We decided to start with the Bruschetta Board which is... More
