We have driven by this place two years now always saying we wanted to stop and decided to finally stop here on a Wednesday evening. We tried calling ahead had hard time getting ahold of someone. Called once we got there and got a table...on this Wednesday night at 5:30pm. Our waitress was very monotone no personality. Arguments when we addressed things. Tried to order prickly pear in which the waitress just responded “no”. Later explaining they had no coconut alcohol. We ordered drinks. Margaritas were premixed despite sign out front reading “freshly juiced margaritas”. Not in any margarita glasses which we later found out was due to “uneven tables”. Not offered salt or sugar rims. We then proceeded to order appetizers. After ordering waitress came back saying they were out of pocos (only 530pm on first day open that week). Later never took this off the bill. Ordered wagyu burger. Outside was charred beyond being edible. Tasted like eating charcoal. No avocado on it. No chipotle sauce on it. Was unable to eat. Waitress told us that it was cooked on charcoal grill. Never had a burger on charcoal grill that bad. Tried to put 10% credit card fee while we were paying cash and tried charging for the appetizer they were out of. Unacceptable and severely disappointed in service and quality of food. Will not return.More

The flank steak street tacos were very good. Soft flour tacos, meat cooked to perfection, a happy blend of taste and texture. A side of guacamole was the perfect finishing touch. The carne asada burrito was fair. The meat wasn't quite as tasty as the...street tacos and the rice seemed a little crunchy. The cornbread was fine. The chips and salsa were not our cup of tea. Chips were pretty run of the mill, but the salsa was almost dry, like it was set out to drain on a paper towel for awhile before putting it in a bowl. We like our salsa wetter. And the taste was bland.More

Haven’t been here in 10 yrs. now I know why, nothing’s changed, food was just not good, couldn’t even eat my enchilada, place appeared clean but tired looking, server was good and they can’t screw up a Budweiser.

We had 2 meals here on our trip to the area in August. The first was inside the restaurant and the second was take out as they had no servers the second day. The in person meal was better then the take out meal -...we would have given 5 stars if only based not he in person meal. We loved the nachos, steak fajitas and steak street tacos. All 3 items were fresh, flavorful and piping hot. The burrito was ok but not enough cheese for our taste. The service was excellent and we were able to call and get a table pretty easily. The take out was efficient - they text you when your order is ready. The takeout fajitas were not hot and they forgot to give us the salsa and sour cream.More

I had a reservation and I was seated and waited 30 minutes without being approached by wait staff despite our kindly asking for service after 20 minutes. Tables that came in after us were served. We nicely asked for service again without success. The red...hair hostess was cluless and rude. We finally left because they refused to serve us and my 2 year old needed something to eat. They didn't care we that we left. I will never be back.More

We came here with our two small children last summer. The restaurant was very family friendly. The owner came by and chatted with us for a bit. She was lovely and you could tell she puts her heart and soul into the place. The food...was very good as well. We will definitely be back!More

My daughter and I stopped in for our favorite dessert 🍩. We were not disappointed. The churros we're hot topped with caramel, chocolate and whipped cream. Definitely with the stop.

This is a good family place for good quantity low cost food. Unfortunately, there are none of the robust flavors you expect with Tex Mex. I had the vegetarian quesadilla which was served cold and my wife had the southwestern salad which was mostly lettuce....The piece of salmon which she added doubled the price of the salad. If you have a lot of kids and you want reasonably priced food this is fine. If you want flavorful Tex Mex, you can do betterMore

For Mexican food, it’s very bland. We had to ask for hot sauce to add to their salsa, which btw is an additional charge for salsa and chips. The decor does match the bland food taste. My jalapeño margarita was also bland, not at all...spicy like I’ve had elsewhere. I would say it’s overpriced for the portions and quality. I’ve been several times before but think the food has gone downhill and I will go elsewhere next time.More

We stopped in Sunday and they had tacos on special. We tried several different ones and they were delicious. Fresh ingredients! We will be back!
