Stopped in for Lunch . Interesting sandwich combos . I had the home slice ( tuna melt on an everything bagel. Really good hit the spot. Inside is really cool .very laid back . can eat out on the front porch or inside in one of two rooms.

I would certainly recommend that anyone who is passing through Franconia, stop at Wendle's for lunch. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.

My teen granddaughter and I stopped at Wendle's after finding other spots too crowded and we are so glad we did. My granddaughter chose two pancakes with blueberries and real maple syrup, and I had a wrap called, I believe, the "Hard Scramble" with nice softly scrambled eggs, tomato, and pesto among the ingredients. The blend of flavors in this... More

Stayed at the Best Western and had to grab a quick lunch nearby. Not many options in the area....just a few mom and pop restaurants. Food was tasty and fresh, but overpriced. Seating was inadequate, uncomfortable, and overall this place looked like it was furnished from a flea market.

Had a friend from Chicago visit and we had brunch. The menu was extensive, the service was fast, the price was very reasonable and best of all the food was GREAT! Being a local I will be back many times.

I stopped in here today to get a cup of coffee while my friends were shopping next door. I stood around the counter waiting to get service while the cashier carried on an extended conversation with a customer. When I finally got tired of being ignored her, I headed for the door to leave. When my hand touched the door... More

I stick with the coffee mostly, for no good reason other than I don't eat a lot and am a picky eater on top of that (my office is right next door)... but damn if the cookies don't look great and the daily specials look & smell so locally creative & yummy. Thanks always for 2:30pm pick-up ladies!!-)

We made a quick visit into Wendle's early in the morning and made our minds up to come back for a good lunch later, the big chalk board menu was so appetising. When we did return, Wendy was there alone and the whole of Franconia was dead. She greeted us like long lost friends and we chatted for a good... More

This was recommended to us by a local. It proved to be good food. Unlike other reviewers we arrived mid afternoon and the restaurant was empty. Now considered to be the off season so food came out fairly quickly. Waitstaff was friendly. You basically make your own sandwich which is what my husband did. I had the soup of the... More
