A great selection of delicious food entrees to choose from off the menu. The desserts were homemade. I had the vanilla ice cream which was excellent.

So glad you enjoyed the salad and crab cakes - but sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the Shepherd's Pie. Usually our only "complaint" is that sometimes it's too hot. But nonetheless, thanks for the feedback and I hope we have you back again. Enjoy...More

I brought my wife here for Mother's Day dinner (we couldn't do any brunches as would be the usual) based on previous experiences here, and once again we were not disappointed. We ordered the appetizers (golden beet salad for my wife, clam cakes for me)...from the special menu and neither of us was disappointed. For entrees, my wife selected the coulotte steak while I chose the fettucine bolognase special;. We were both completed satisfied with the choices that we made. For dessert (which we had room for), my wife chose the canolli cone with chocolate chips and I selected the key lime pie. We both thought we had made the better choice. The meal was served with a sweet bread (cranberry and chocolate chip) and italian bread which were both good. Add in soda and a glass of prosecco and a cup of coffee, and the total price before tax and tip was about $82. The wine itself was $16 so I would suggest avoiding that if you want to cut down the cost; the rest of the meal was very reasonable. Overall, a very good choice for a quiet (if eating in the dining room and not the pub) meal.More

Maybe we were there on an off-night, because our experience doesn't match most of the reviews for the Palmer House Pub. The service was very good, and pub and dining room decor are great. However, none of our six meals (steak, mac and cheese, risotto,...bolognese special, salad) were anything but passable. A real bummer at nearly $40/per person.More

What more can I say? This place has it all ,including a very cool bar dog, namely Monty. The dining room has an extensive menu both creative as well as delicious. The pub menu follows a similar path, just a bit more basic. The also...have a monthly opera night dinner and show that fills up early , get a reservation if you can, you won’t forget it. .More

Even if you are not going to a Stone Mountain concert here is a solid choice for dinner. Service is excellent. Ambiance is very warm. Seating in the pub can be crowded but on none concert nights the dining room is less so. The fines...are very good (Cabernet and Pinot for instance). Shepard's pie is excellent. Pork is well flavored but the meat a bit tough.More

My husband and I have a seasonal place and try to make it to dinner here at least 2-3 times a year which we've been doing for about 10 years. We don't go often, yet it stays consistent in the quality and service as it...has been from the first time we ever went. The food is always good, sometimes really, really good. The atmosphere is great and the waitstaff never fail to make you feel special. Great local place, reasonably priced and consistently good and tasty. The host Monty, (the Inn dog) was just a pup when we first started going and we always ask for him. He's an elder dog now but he still tries to greet guests when he is able. We always have a dessert which is always good. However, once in while they make a special desert that's just a little different. One of the most memorable ones was a soda cracker pie. If it was on the menu, I'd eat it every time we go!!! Nice job keeping a great local pub, you never cease to make us happy.More
