We went and had lunch here. The food was super! The prices were great. The kids were able to choose a donut, cupcake, or cookie for dessert. They are closed on Sundays. We were planing on going back for Breakfast but they would be closed. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was good home cooking .

If you are in down town Dover and want a simple lunch like mom use to make you, this is the place. No fancy food. Basic sandwiches, chicken pot pie, meat loaf, turkey dinner with all the fixings are on the menu. The bakery is also full of good basic cakes, cookies , breads. The maple doughnut are the shinning... Not only do they have fresh pastry but everything on the menu is cooked to order and wonderfully served. A cozy atmosphere great service and coffeein the a.m. doesn't get any better than this unless you staying home and served by mother!

This is where many locals have breakfast and/or coffee in the downtown area. It had been years since I’d had breakfast there. I’d forgotten how good breakfast was there. On arrival at Harvey’s Bakery & Coffee Shop, I was greeted and seated immediately. The waitress took my order for decaf coffee at $2.10 and the Two Eggs & Toast breakfast... More

Harvey's is a bakery, but it also serves breakfast and lunch. For breakfast I had corned beef hash, poached eggs, and home fries. Everything was cooked exactly how I would have myself. The decor is outdated and somehow that makes it all the more homey and friendly. I can't imagine it any other way. Excellent food, cooked well, and friendly... More

My father grew up on Harvey's maple squares and it is a taste that had been passed down through the generations. Even my wife, who isn't a pastry person, can't help but sneaking by from time to time to satisfy her taste buds. I don't know what it is but they are unbelievable. The rest of the food in the... My husband and I grew up in Dover and return often. There always must be time in visiting for one or two trips to Harvey's so we can get their famous, famous maple squares at breakfast and stock up with other bakery items for roadside snacks. The bakers come in in the wee hours to make the most luscious looking... More

I took my 5 year old grand-daughter and she loved sitting at the bar with the little chairs. Our food was great and the staff very friendly, I loved the fact that they gave us a sample of one of their bakery donuts on our breakfast plate. Thank you!

Friendly staff, good food. We were there for breakfast, and it was good, but seems a bit pricey compared to other places in the area.

Nothing special here, but still, great tasting food. I love their pastries. My aunt and I like to order a small cake for my mom here on her birthday, which she usually loves. Again, nothing too out of the ordinary.
