Our daughter took us to Newick's for Lobstah! The waitress was fantastic, she explained how the restaurant owner's son had his boat on the water, we could see it from the window. That is were the lobsters come from, fresh!

Second time here in a while. We were excited to be there, meeting up with in laws who were trying Newick's for the first time. Service was quick. Our waitress, Jo was patient and attentive. Our appetizer and entrees were mostly average. Our fried calamari was Rhode Island style with banana peppers, but they were mixed together, therefore the liquid... More

We've been coming here for 30+ years and it never disappoints. The Lobster Stew was well worth they money - there was a whole tail and quite a bit of claw meat in it. It's such simple, delicious, fresh food, and we wouldn't make a trip north without stopping by!

Think big, casual, and no frills. Eveything is disposable from the silverware to the plates to the cups to the tablecloths. But the food....lobster roll comes in several sizes to fit every budget. Delicious clam chowder and fish and chips.Sit outside or inside near the window. It's a long-lived and loved institution.

I moved south three years ago but for over 50 years I lived in either Massachusetts or New Hampshire, and Newick's has always been a part of seafood experience. It is amazing and I'm always surprised by how many tourist don't know about it. They go to the little places at the beaches that give small portions with old oil... More

Great seafood. Love the casual atmosphere and sitting by the back windows is the best! Excellent service. Decent prices. Plenty of parking. Take out is fast and easy, and there is even fudge for an after dinner treat!

After growing up in New England, this place brings back fond memories. Wonderful fresh fish, and excellent fried clams. Very casual, but excellent service. A bit off the beaten path.Helps to have directions to find it. Great views over the inlet.

My mom worked at Newick's for 30 years and even though she said she HATED scallops, every time my husband and I dined there, she ate scallops off of my plate! You couldn't keep my mother out of your plate! I miss her, and I miss Newick's and will go there again soon. Their portions are large, a bit too... More
