Unprepossessing casual restaurant located on the outskirts of town. However, if you do stop in, the prices are reasonable and the seafood is very good. The native shrimp are tender and delicious, and something I always get when visiting. Fish and lobster also good. Onion rings and vegetables good, but avoid the French fries which are bland.

First stop from the airport on my way to Rochester. I grew up here so I pretty much have to have the fisherman's platter! Full belly clams of course! It's what you would expect from fried seafood. Not too heavy and the service was good, although it is 2pm on a Thursday. And yes, you still get silly bibs with... More

We stopped in for lunch while traveling to Boston. We ordered the fried haddock sandwich and chowder. The fried haddock was good although the batter was slightly heavy and it tasted like it was fried and old grease. Tartar sauce was terrible tasted fake and imitation not good at all. Coleslaw tasted like a refrigerator very old I believe. Chowder... More

My Granddaughter and I were on a bus tour and the bus company reserved this restaurant for dinner. There were 2 choices, chicken or fried fish and shrimp. My choice was the chicken which was served with rice and a small amount of cole slaw. The staff was friendly considering we were two hours late.

We went to lunch on Father's Day an we were not disappointed. We shared fried clams, scalloped, and shrimp. All were fresh and delicious. The batter is light and not greasy. We highly recommend for outstanding New England seafood fare. Our waitress was awesome. Find coupons online.

The Weathervane Seafood Restaurant is a place one can depend on to get quality food at a good price. This small regional chain has won numerous awards. My most-recent visit was with friends for a Saturday afternoon lunch. We had a reservation. Our table was waiting when we arrived. Beverage orders were taken promptly. Friend #1 had the Fried Haddock... More

This place has the BEST Shrimpy Mary's I have ever had. The staff is all so friendly. This is a perfect place for a last minute dinner stop.

Stopped for lunch prior to visit at UNH. They were very accommodating as we were pressed for time. Food was good and a descent price. If UNH is the choice we will go back.

We stop in from time to time and the food is decent. The overall restaurant could use an over haul. They run some good kid specials so that works for us.
