Came home to Concord and my daughter recommended the Newel Post for breakfast. Great coffee, great breakfast! Scrambled eggs, bacon, hash Browns and pancakes were so yummy! I'll be back next time I'm home!

Had scrambled eggs, they were so flat not fluffy. Had to be to much oil on the grill. Kielbasa there is excellent. Older woman who works there very pleasant. Walked right past the owners not even a smile. Remember a smile and a review can go a long way.

The Newell Post is a wonderful restaurant with good food and quick service. Bright and cheery on the inside and good comfort food. It gets really busy on Sunday morning but other than that you can get right in and right out. Great Bakery items as well.

Friendly waitress, cozy atmosphere, decent breakfast. Eggs and bacon were great, French Toast was not so great. I'd stop again. Just for the bacon and eggs though.

Local hot spot, less expensive than the McDonalds next door and much better food. Nic e size portions, almost too big, and perfectly good food. Recommend anything on the breakfast menu.

On a daytrip to Concord with friends, we had lunch here. We wanted a restaurant away from the downtown area and with its own parking lot. The Newell Post fit our desired criteria. The décor was country café style with booths and tables. We were greeted cheerfully and seated at a table immediately. Beverage orders were taken promptly. Friend #1... More

Good eggs benedict. Nice having a choice of baked apples rather than potatoes. Great and friendly service.

This is one of those hidden places many yet few know about. Its location out towards the Pines area is quiet enough to be good yet busy enough to know it is a place that locals appreciate and for those who like good food - A++++++. This is one of the few places that the hash is actually hash and... More

Everything was fine. Can't complain but wasn't outstanding in anyway. A perfectly ok option for lunch.

A large group of us arrived at the Newell Post, our first visit, following a ceremony at the nearby Veterans Cemetery. We were greeted so nicely, and accommodated beyond our expectation, knowing that we were a large group and the restaurant is modestly sized. The food was terrific, arrived in a timely manner and with smiling servers, and the servings... More
