Went to Common Man for business purposes. Had the autumn salad and chicken apple main course. The salad was good with pumpkin seeds, goat cheese and roasted butternut squash. My main course was lacking with stuffing that overpowered the chicken and tasteless mashed potatoes. The service was ok but it took over an hour for our order to be placed.... More

Waited 20 min for rolls. Ordered meal came 50 min after sitting down waitress brought bill before desert was brought. Then wrong dessert brought. Service left a lot to be desired.A Ltho credit to them they did not charge for rthe dessert for her mistake. Great onion soup and Mac cheese with pulled pork.

All of the Common Man Restaurants are great. The menu has classic New England dishes, like a Yankee Pot Roast.

We met family at this place, for lunch on a Monday. We have been here on a few occasions and have always had a good experience. It is spacious and wheel chair accessible. We have a relative in a wheel chair and they have always been good at accommodating our needs. They have a large menu and offer many choices.... More

Have eaten here several times. Stopped on the way back from upstate New York. Little has changed since last visit. Service was excellent, food well-prepared with large quantities. Filet and sirloin we ordered were expensive but perfectly prepared. Ate in the bar area to avoid a 30-45 minute wait for a table in the main restaurant. Parking can be a... More

Three of us had lunch there. One had NE Pot Roast that was in chunks instead of a slice but still wasn't very good, one had a lunch special of a chicken pot pie that was like mainly chicken soup out of a can, and one had an over toasted B-L-Tomato sandwich. The meal was acceptable but not up to... More

Nice enough place to stop while we were driving through, but we were not blown away by anything here. The food was good, and good value, but nothing outstanding. The décor is unique, and not really my style, but I can see how some people would like this kind of place. I would stop here again, but not go out... More

I stopped at the Common Man on the way home from a foliage trip to northern Vermont. I had eaten here once several years ago, and it's one of those places that always makes me want to come back more often. The bar area upstairs is quite spacious, with two separate bars, some small tables, and relaxing couches. I sat... More

Had dinner and drinks at bar - Paul was bartender. He was very personable and attentive. Salad came out with dinner and he took salad off bill. Great bar - very warm and friendly feeling. We'll definitely go back.

My wife and I were in town for the races as we were in July and we had great meal back then. However this time around nothing good to say. On Saturday night after ordering or meals the salad arrived very quick and that was as far as it went. After waiting 30 minutes our waitress said that the kitchen... More
