The Wilderness has been our go-to place for good food and a very reasonable price. We have been there often and always had good food with very friendly service. They don't have a problem with special requests with the food and were quick to please in any way they could.

We stopped by this place on the way to Montreal. It's a nondescript local restaurant that serves tasty homemade sandwiches and desserts. The hot turkey sandwich was delicious! Thank you for the good food.

We arrived at 8pm. I ordered the 16oz ribeye, my son (16) ordered hotdog and beans. The service was prompt and friendly. Both were solid, health meals - just what we needed on the road. The portions were big - neither of us finished everything on our plates. The ribeye was great. The mash potato, gravy, and bread were fine... More

We were out for a fall drive and feeding time hit. There were many pickups out front with NH plates which is usually a good sign. We were satisfied with huge portions, low prices, food cooked as ordered and good quality. Yep the place is dated and worn but I wouldn't call it dirty. The tables, dishes, floors and restrooms... Stopped into the Wilderness Restaurant, Colebrook NH and had the most delicious French Onion soup, the best I have had in NH. Sorry I missed you Ray, Coach.

We arrived from the wilderness of the Dartmouth College Grant. The facility was very dated consequently looking a bit dirty. The chili was outstanding - more beans than meat, but very tasty. One in our party had the buffalo wings and was really burning by the time he finished the ample serving. The prices were very reasonable and the service... More

A small group of friends and myself stopped for lunch. The choices were many and the food was good. It was a clean place and worth stopping for lunch again.

Nice warm small atmosphere, seems clean and food was fantastic. Had hole clams fries and a couple home made buns. Good place to go when in Colebrook NH.
