Talk about EXCITEMENT... The Barn Café was mine & my son's ultimate favorite place to go for Breakfast, Lunch , Dinner and delicious desserts. We end up moving 5 hrs away but was here for Children's Hospital & dental appointments. We were so EXCITED to...find out that this family owned cafe made it throughout the pandemic with still standing strong. My oldest & I got the melt in your mouth turkey cheddar melts & the baby got cheddar bacon quiche with 2 Toll House bars that he absolutely loved. Josh & staff thank you for the friendly upbeat customer service & delicious food 😋More

I seen these lemon Lavender scone and thought "hmmmm. Never heard of a flavor like that." Oh man! I am not big on scones, but they ate super delicious and not dry like other scones I've tried. I have had their breakfast in the past...as well, and it is all good. I urge you to try a scone, but the cakes are super delicious as well.More

This tiny cafe runs like a Swiss clock and the food that comes out is beyond delicious. I had sausage, cheese and egg topped with mango chutney on a Portuguese muffin. Oh, man was it yummy. It sustained me all morning. The customers are truly...the salt of the earth in this old mill town. But detour if you must. It’s worth it.More

Friends and I had lunch here and bought baked goods to take back to our vacation house. Everything we had was incredibly fresh, made from scratch, and delicious. Convenient location. Ample parking. Clean, comfortable dining area (inside and out). Fast service.

I had tge Turkey gobbler sandwich and it was hand carved Turkey, not deli meat. My wife had the loaded grilled cheese, and she said it was fresh cheddar cheese. They have almond and oat milk as milj substitutes if desired. The breakfast menu looks...great, and tge fresh baked scones, brownies and muffins also looked great. The high rating is fully warranted. Off street parking is available behind the restaurant.More

We had a wonderful lunch here today! Two great sandwiches, Chicken Pesto and Philly Cheesesteak, and based on their deliciousness, we can’t wait to dig into the rest of their menu. We will be back, Josh!

We picked this place off the internet after spending three rainy days camping in the area. We wanted a hearty, tasty RESTAURANT breakfast after three mornings of instant oatmeal and cold muffins. It looked promising from the exterior, and the inside seemed pleasant and clean....We were not put off by the notion of ordering at the counter and picking up - that's fine. We both ordered the same breakfast - scrambled eggs, bacon, toast. I had to settle for a vending machine style bottle of OJ, drunk from the bottle. He had coffee, which he said was okay. I carry my own tea bags (having had too many places tell me that Earl Grey is the same as black tea, or had a wide variety of bizarre herbals like "Cinnamon and Turmeric".) I was not charged for a cup of VERY hot (hurrah!!!) water . Our breakfasts were brought out on paper plates with flimsy plastic cutlery. Egg portions were generous and well-done, though lacking seasonings. Bacon was slightly over-cooked and very greasy. Toast was served buttered but there was no jam or jelly with it. It was pretty dry and tasteless. It seemed to be a popular place with the locals, but the primary draw seemed to be flavored coffee drinks. Maybe they should stick to that. It wasn't a good place to get breakfast. I know times are tough for food service establishments, and I'd love to write a rave review, but we just didn't feel like this place was trying very hard with the food. On the bright side, it WAS very clean and well cared-for. Bathroom was spotless.More

What a lovely cafe. The staff are amazing, always friendly and smiling. The place is spotless, even outside and the food is wonderful. Some of the bakery items seem a little high priced, but they sure are tasty. Breakfast or lunch, you will not be...disappointed. Free refills on coffee would be a nice perk though. It would also be nice if meals were served on plates with silverware vs paper and plastic. Not good for the environment.More

This place was a real treat. The menu was very, very creative. We were there for breakfast, and I had the Vermonter, an egg sandwich with cheddar cheese, maple bacon, green apples on fresh raisin bread. My mocha was also very good. I also got...some treats to go and the maple scone was delicious. Even though I highly recommend this bakery, the one thing that would seriously improve the experience would be real plates and silverware. I hope the paper plates and plastic cutlery are just for Covid precautions, but overall great job.More
