Great place for a wonderful meal. There was already a little wait when we got there at six after our Airbnb hose recommended we try it. So we ate at the bar. The bartender was friendly and fast, but didn't make us feel rushed. Quite...a talent if you've ever worked at a busy bar! The menu has lots of super interesting choices and we chose the two fish specials. I love that there were two specials to give diners more opportunities to try the local seafood. The flavors were delicious, well paired and cooked precisely. The couple next to us had a fantastic looking salad so maybe we will get that next time. When we left the parking lot was full and people had ordered cocktails or beer to pass their wait time more pleasantly! Don't pass this one up. Fyi. Eating at the bar was fine, but if you have time, wait for a table with a view.More

Gay friendly and what a gem! We came because it was open during off season and came back because of the food, the people, and the view! Everything we tried was great. Everything is locally sourced. Highly recommend the Hot and Sour Soup, Pecan crusted...flounder, and of course the shrimp and grits. The Chocolate Sol is gluten free and worth the calories.. Service was friendly and attentive without smothering us. The sunset view is amazing, so time dinner just right to see it.More

Ordering was easy, they pick up was fast, and the food was amazing! All of the staff was friendly. The location is beautiful too, I’m looking forward to going back when it’s warm and eating outside there.

We drove here for a late dinner. We had a drink of JD on the rocks and a ice tee with the meal with the Calamari. She Crab soup, which was the best I have had in a while it a must taste item. Mary...was our waitress and did a great job with the service of our meal. My bride had the Fried Shrimp. I had the Shrimp and Scallops Pasta. This was one of the better meals in our OBX visit. $99.89More

We had a great dinner at Hatteras Sol. My husband had the fried oysters and I had the tenderloin steak. Both were cooked to perfection. We got right in at 5:00, but people were waiting for a table when we left. If possible, get a...table by the water and watch the boats come in and unload their catch next door. Service was fast and friendly.More

Best birthday experience on the island! Food was EXCEPTIONALLY good! Wings, crab dip, and the nightly tuna specials were on POINT. Great atmosphere! When the entire restaurant sings you happy birthday, that’s something special! Highly recommend them!

COVID presented no real challenge for these aces. We ate outside, on magnificent picnic tables, with a busking master guitarist. Song choices were almost as awesome as my Tournadoes of beef and fresh shrimp, or my bride’s shrimp and grits. Cold beer, incredible and funny...service staff, and a night I won’t forget. (You can eat INSIDE, as well, if you aren’t as worried about the virus.)More

Two of us who are good eaters yet lucky enough to have enjoyed some excellent meals thoroughly appreciated our dinner. One ate the plentiful shrimp and grits with excellent, nicely seasoned sauce. The other enjoyed two large crab cakes with ample lump crabmeat. Decent prices...and great service. Wait was easy. Great place to watch the sun set too. Better than Pangea and Cafe Pamlico, though they were good.More
