Love the crust and the sauce - taste only exceeded by customer service

The sauce is rich without any hot spices. The crust has a great taste and texture. Toppings and cheese are fresh. We had a little problem and they made it right with a smile. We will go back again. Good customer service sets a restaurant apart from others and we were well-treated.

Our new favorite place!

My husband and I have come through Winnemucca frequently over the past few years . This is our new favorite place for a light dinner. We shared a single salad, which was more than we usually eat, and a small pizza, which we only ate half of. We will eat the remainder tomorrow on the other half of our road trip. We are both in our mid sixties. The service was great and our pitcher of Icky IPA was only $9. Will definitely come back!

Circle slash in the pasta sauce

I love eating here. The Wedge salad is amazing as is the pizza and wings. Last night was the first time I tried the spaghetti. I had the spaghetti Americana. It included a couple meatballs. They were very good. How ever. The sauce was horrible. It was too thick like tomato paste. And way too salty. So if the can look into a different kind/brand of sauce I would order t again because I love spaghetti.

Terrible Service

One star is only for the fact that the food was pretty good. I am genuinely surprised at the 5 star reviews praising the service as in this area, this establishment should earn 0 stars. After not being greeted or even offered a menu for about 20 minutes, the order itself (2 calzones) took an hour for one to come out, and we didn't see the other for another 30+ min. All during this time, we were by the kitchen and could see/hear the constant messing around by the cooks & servers. Though relatively friendly, our server barely checked on us and we saw more of the other server than we did her. We got barely any updates on our food and having to watch the waitresses pretend to "scold" the chefs who obviously weren't doing their job was just painful at this point. Once we did get our food, it wasn't correct but it wasn't even worth it to ask for the correct order. To top it all off at the end, our card was incorrectly charged about $80 for a $28 order and we had to catch it and have them refund the amount. After telling our server, all she did was laugh and say "oh okay" with out any apology or regard for her idiotic error.

Severe Disappointment, Must Avoid

Absolutely horrendous service/experience. Extreme wait times and they ran out of many of the foods we wanted. Waiters were not checking in on us and took forever to get us anything. The people who came after us with a bigger party and the same waiter got all their food and drinks before us. When the food finally came (50 minute wait) the pasta was extremely over peppered and the kids refused to eat it because it was too spicy. The pizza was ok but not worth the wait. When we asked for the checj, it took 20 minutes before we had to go after and chase them, go inside, and physically get it. Please avoid this place, not worth it.

Under baked, wrong toppings, and took much longer

On our way through we thought we would give this place a try based on the reviews. Sadly it was a disaster. My husband picked up the pizza (waited 15 longer than they said originally) and when he was back at our hotel, we discovered that the pizza was severely under baked so that it was raw and doughy underneath the toppings. Also the toppings were messed up. It was supposed to be half pepperoni, mushroom, olive and half pepperoni, Canadian bacon, pineapple. Instead they put all the toppings all over the entire pizza and forgot the pepperoni completely. I called and the nice woman said they would give us a refund but didn’t seem all that apologetic for it. They were super busy so hopefully their other customers are getting a better pizza experience.

STAY AWAY. Worst service

STAY AWAY. Terrible customer service. It was a busy Saturday night but that does not excuse our experience. After trying to place a phone order for to go pizza for one hour with only busy signal, we drove to the place. Was told our $60 pizza order would take 45 minutes. Also no one was wearing masks inside including staff - no kitchen, bar staff or counter help. Waited outside due to busy and no masks worn, and started going in at one hour, was told not ready yet. Finally at 90 minutes I am told the kitchen lost the order. I understand that mistakes happen in kitchens, but an attempt to make it right should occur - like rushing your order through. All we got was “sorry”. Wasted over 2 hour on vacation trying to get pizza. Stay away they obviously don’t need the business and treat you as such. Terrible experience

Big disappointment

Ordered pizza at this place for pick up to ovoid the Covid-19 issues. Decided on nothing fancy, a large pizza with 6 toppings. I was told that it would be ready in 30 minutes, only to stand around for an extra 20 minutes. In the entire bar area nobody was wearing a mask or observing social distancing, while some of the wait staff had their masks tucked around their chins. Grabbed the pizza when it finally made it out of the kitchen and went back to the hotel to eat it. Opened the box and realized they must have counted the pieces of pineapple and pine nuts, while the leaves of spinach were barely noticeable. Not to mention that two of the toppings paid for never made it on the pizza. Very disappointing and a $28 rip-off

Thank you for reserving our table for 16. The service was not great. Waitress did not tell us what they were out of until taking our order- not as we sat down. Several in our party had to make last minute changes. When ordering a Perfect Pepperoni pizza with sausage, you expect to get at least some pepperoni, but our pizza did not have a single piece of Pepperoni 😳 On a Saturday night they were out of spaghetti, lasagna, white sauce and manners. The calzones are too salty and the marinara must have been pizza sauce. The root beer float on the menu comes with 3 scoops of ice cream, we got 2. With an “open” kitchen it is important for the staff not to drop F- Bombs or dishes!

Disappointed

Stopped in as we passed through from the Midwest to Oregon. As we were seated we realized that the bartender and waitstaff were not masked despite the “covid compliant/masks required” signage on the door. You can see into the kitchen and none of the cooks were masked either. I hate to be that person but we had to leave. If they aren’t following those health protocols it makes you wonder what other protocols aren’t being followed.

Great place for pizza and salad

Stopped in for take-out salad at lunch time. We had delicious Cesar salads that were served in small pizza boxes. So adorable!! Pizza menu looks amazing. I wish we were staying longer as I would definitely go back for pizza as it looked delicious!!

Glad we decided to try this restaurant. It seems like a great local hang out. Nice atmosphere. We shared the Minestrone soup with meatballs, a single house salad and spaghetti and meatballs. I have to learn how to make the braided, buttered, garlic-herb bread that came with the spaghetti, Amazing! The service was great and food was excellent with generous portions. We spent $42 with tip and no drinks. I felt it was worth it for a date night out or special treat. They also offer happy hour specials on beer. We’ll be back next time we pass through town.

For all of you that put in complaints need to own a business at least once and see how things really are. Being in the service business is not fun at times for one reason no matter what you do is never good enough for some people. i would think before anyone complain about a business they need to think how would you feel as a person it was about you that was being complained about. For the cova thing the mask do not work and neither did the shots because people are still getting sick doing both. hope everyone is having a good day

Great pizza!

My husband and I spent the night in Winnemucca and found this delightful pizzeria. The restaurant itself has lots of charm, it has indoor and outdoor seating, and the bartender/server was personable, friendly, and efficient (considering she was all by herself!). The pizza we shared was delicious and cooked to perfection. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

Long day of travel but a glass of beer and a hot perfectly cooked pizza hit the spot. Was a nice surprise finding this place. Sat by the kitchen and every single dish looked lovely, pasta, appetizers etc…. They do have a bar, and there is indoor and outside seating, which helps if you have a pet and there are no spots in the shade for your cat left
