This place is a dam ripoff! Owner or manager is a total jerk! Way over priced replicated garbage! Guy standing outside the door handing root beer barrel candy to intice you in to buy their over price garbage!
We went in there after noticing all the good reviews. But noone bothered to say that the candy is really pricey! Unless you want to buy some candy for nostalgia, as they do have some of the old time candy that I didn't know was...made anymore. It was just pricey IMO.
A lot of employees walking around and a lot of customers eating candy from the barrels. Making their own free samples. I guess that is one reason the prices are so high?More
If you are interested in candy, this is the store for you.
I lost count of the varieties, however, I found my favourite so I left a very happy camper.
Located on the main street and very, very tempting, indeed
Well....maybe not "fun" exactly, but they have more barrels of candy than I've ever seen! Seriously loaded with more flavors of salt water taffy that I thought existed. The very large truffles were actually the best I have ever had. Get your candy fix here.
Starting with the very friendly greeter on the side walk in front of the store to the huge volume of candy and variety inside, fun. As well as candy, there is a large supply of spicy sauces and spices in general from around the country....There is also a large variety of signs covering most tastes, from the funny to the raunchy.More
This is a great little place to stop to put together a bag of hand-picked yummy treats. This is a guaranteed fun stop if you have small children. The staff is very friendly. They have many types of vintage/old style brands of candy as well.
