Great Baked Goods

Great "home made" baked goods. Expensive prices, as would be expected in a tourist area. A nice stop for a quick breakfast, but not a dining establishment.

After having a big dinner at Del Rio the night before and planning a nice lunch at the Gold Hills hotel, we decide to go light for breakfast with just coffee and baked goods. When we walked in, we looked around for help, not knowing if we should pay for the coffee first or pour it first. The "server" just... More

I would not even bother stopping in. We walked in and my mom asked what her specialty was (in case there was one) - the response was 'baked goods'! in a very matter of fact tone. I was thinking, you are in the middle of a tourist area! My mom then asked what is popular and the response was 'it... More

They have lot's of baked good options - bread, cinnamon buns, cookies, turnovers, scones etc. We had a cinnamon bun and a scone. They were a bit dry on the outside but once you got passed that part they were pretty good. There isn't a place to sit inside so you have to take it to go, but they do... More

Best chocolate macaroon I've ever had! Wish I bought more home! Gave a package of 3 to the neighbors, their Grand kids never saw them

The service here was friendly and polite too. The food was excellent. Loved the hot food we had the first morning and the pastries we had the next. Great location too right next door to the Silver Queen. Oh yeah, the cookies are to die for too - nice and soft!

Shara at VC Baked Goods made our wedding cake for our reception at Piper's Opera House June 1st. Our theme was western, "Two Trails Become One Road," and Shara brought us a real winner! The cake was pertinent as to design, creatively decorated and very personal to us. Not to mention the various selection of flavored cakes and fillings that... More

Great bakery & everything was fresh and very good. Not too bad on prices considering they are in a tourist trap town. I'd highly recommend.

they were a little expensive but worth every penny! I had to go back and buy three more! everything looked so good but these reminded me of when I was a young pup and my dad used to make them... it has been forever since I had one... so much for having just one - huh?
