Not many options for vegetarians in Tonopah. This seemed like our best option and locals were in abundance. The enchiladas and rellenos were pretty standard fare. It satisfied our basic culinary need.

we went to this restaurant for dinner and they were not overly busy. We got out drinks fairly fast but it took the waitress 1/2 hour to come and take our order. She apologized several times but her service did not get any better. We waited for our bill another 15-20 min until we got tired of waiting and went... More

i love the carna sada tacos!! the beans and cheese, the salsa can get a bit spicy but oh so good. the margiritas are to die for! the service is always good. great location! right next to the tonopah motel so if you drink to much you dont have far to go. walking distance from giggle springs.

My favorite is always the chicken chimichanga with rice and beans and it is still good after my first visit there 25 years ago! It may not be "California good" but for central NV, it's pretty tasty to us. The "blended" margaritas are still tasty and even though the waitress was really busy on a Sunday noon when we ate... I'm not a big Mexican food fan but we have been here quite a few times now and it's great. We love the margaritas!

I guess you don't go to Tonopah, Nevada for Mexican food and expect it to be incredible. The AC was roaring making the dining room cold while it was only about 55 outside. The food lacked flavor and I kept hoping for sour cream but to no avail. Next time for us? We will meet friends elsewhere.

There margaritas were pretty good. I asked for whole beans and they said they didn't have them. My husband asked what they put in their burritos and the bartender said just bens, rice and meat. He mentioned that they put everything in them in Calif. We told him we were from CA. Food was ok. What do you expect in... More

We were in Tonopah for a weekend in April 2016, and went to the El Marques for dinner on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy, and is obviously popular with locals. The restaurant and bar are in separate rooms, and the bar was busy also. The menu is extensive, with typical Mexican fare. The margaritas are delicious, as was the... More

By far the best food in Tonopah. If your passing thru ask for Pablo (owner) He makes the best margaritas for miles around. I personally love the chicken chimichanga. And their salsa is always amazing.
