Start with a side of guacamole with the house made salsa, chips, a super sized margarita. I found that the local favorite are the carne asada tacos or a chili relleno. The service is always great, and if you sit in the bar area you can watch the game!

Party of 7 stopped for lunch. Food was great with generous portions. Appeared only 1 server at 12:30 so service was slow.

Our favorite in Tonopah. Our daughter loves their guacamole. Good salsa, they make in house, love when it has a kick. Staff is friendly. Good ice tea.

We have stayed in Tonopah several times and have eaten at four other restaurants. El Marques is by far the best. Our server was attentive and muy efficient. The chili rellanos, lightly breaded and smothered in cheese sauce were absolutely delicious. My husband had beef with peppers and onions. The beef could have been a bit more tender but did... More

The service was friendly, and the food was pretty average. The restaurant is family friendly. Lots of free parking right next to the restaurant.

The place was very busy. We waited for 15 minutes. I think it is the only Mexican restaurant in town. The food and the service were okay. Hubby had Chimichanga, my daughter had Nachos and I had Shredded Burritos. We might come back when we are in town again.

Not many options for vegetarians in Tonopah. This seemed like our best option and locals were in abundance. The enchiladas and rellenos were pretty standard fare. It satisfied our basic culinary need.

we went to this restaurant for dinner and they were not overly busy. We got out drinks fairly fast but it took the waitress 1/2 hour to come and take our order. She apologized several times but her service did not get any better. We waited for our bill another 15-20 min until we got tired of waiting and went... More

My favorite is always the chicken chimichanga with rice and beans and it is still good after my first visit there 25 years ago! It may not be "California good" but for central NV, it's pretty tasty to us. The "blended" margaritas are still tasty and even though the waitress was really busy on a Sunday noon when we ate...
