You hear people say "raw fish, yuk" But if you have never tried sushi, especially when it is prepared correctly, you will love it. We have gone to the Sushi Pier several time and it is always consitent. The "Chefs" are friendly and knowledgable. During the meal, I usually ask the chef, when it's not busy, to prepare a "Chef's... Top notch in every way. Small place but fun sitting at the bar and watching cooks. We will be back soon.

Amazing sushis. One of the best places in Tahoe. All you can eat for $27. Part of our experience was sitting at the bar in front of Coronel making the sushis. We didn't even worry on what to order, we let him prepare his specialties. You can't miss this place if you are in town.

Asked my staff where they would like to go for a lunch on the boss, and they (7) once again selected Sushi Pier. Went for lunch as they feature an all you can eat lunch with a large selection of menu items to choose from. Food is fantastic as well as service that is also very quick and friendly.

The place is always packed. Fresh fish, reasonably priced. My main beef is their nigiri is huge. Any time you need a knife to cut it half so it fits in your mouth so you can savor sushi's intricacies it's TOO big. The pieces are a mouthful that need some serious manipulative mastication to get them too a size you... More

With all of the superlatives there is little to add. Four of us did our best to eat everything we could. Service was a bit slow but the server was the only server on duty and she was more than a bit too busy. Despite that inconvenience we really enjoyed Sushi Pier. The all you can eat lunch is a... We try to get to Tahoe once a year. This is one of our favorite spots. My husband is celiac and all staff is fully aware of what he can have so he won't be contaminated. They have all you can eat lunch and you definitely get your money's worth.

This is our all time fav sushi place, in the World. Whilst we live in Australia, we make it our business to visit this place whenever in the US area. The food is just incredible and if you like sushi, you have to give it a try. The selections are so yummy and innovative. We always do the "All you... More
