Went to have cioppino. Usually go for New Years Eve but could not wait. Again It was great as usual because it has no shells. The service is always great and the prices are reasonable. The place has not gone down like a couple of other spots. cant wait to go back in Oct.

I had the California Catch. Deep fried shrimp, scallops and cod. Absolutely the best I ever tasted. My wife had a tuna sandwich she said was average. Service could not be better.

The quality of food and the prices are great. The service is a puzzle. The staff seems unsupervised and lacking basic server skills..

Love the Palace Station Oyster bar in Vegas. So thought we'd try this one. Service was pretty slow in the beginning. I think the waitresses didn't arrive yet. But it was ok.The bread was good. The pan roast was good but the shrimp was fishy tasting. Very strong in old bay seasoning?? My husband had the clam chowder. He said... More

It's all a bit worn out; the staff, the carpet, the furniture and the menu. We had a birthday dinner with a group of 7. I've been hearing about the "famous pan roast" for years. So gave it a try. I found it to be pretty much boiled to rubberization. Service was sketchy but cheerful. The staff is required to... More

The pan roast is as good as Las Vegas Palace Station Oyster Bar. The you have to wait two hours in line, not here big restaurant, plenty of bar seating and respectable service. This is our second trip here and we will return.

Our favorite local spot on a cold night! The pan roast is so yummy, full of flavor and seafood. We always start with the steamed clams to share.

Hubby and I stopped in for lunch since it was in the hotel (see review regarding hotel) and ordered some appetizers and one of their signature drinks. After 45 min of waiting for the drink, we cancelled and told them not to worry about it. The waitress got snippy with us, saying, "well. I told you someone was on their... More

We had such a great experience the first time we went, we went back the next night. The first night we both had a stew, that was made fresh at the open kitchen bar. The next night I had the Bouillabaisse that was excellent! I do recommend. Also the poor mans Coucilla was very good too! ( not sure on... More

Crab Louie was flavorful and just the right amount. Prices higher this year but worth it anyway. I will go to the Oyster Bar again on my next trip to Reno/Sparks.
